Great work with your mods. I wonder if I need this and the other one because I already run the HD Project. Are both of the texture mods in that one? Will they conflict?  Thanks

texture mods that affect the same set of original textures tend to just override eachother, the one that wins is the one that gets loaded last, load order is alphabetical iirc.

Is there a list of affected files? quickbms, umodel, and unreal(un)pak for some reason wont let me inspect your mod.

Strange, all of them should work, it's a standard pak file.
All C and N textures in End\Contents\GameContents\Environment\7th\Texture\Hvn are affected
IIRC, around 6-8 C and N textures in End\Contents?\GameContents\Environment\7th\Texture are affected too.

Hi, is this where I should paste the pack? "Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade\End\Content\Paks\~mods"

Yes! Sorry for not writing that in the description. Editing now. Every pak mod is installed the same way.

Hey this might be a dumb question but if I have a 1080p monitor and have game res set to 1080 will I still see a difference with this mod?

Yes. Not as much, but you will. I'm also on a 1080p monitor by the way.
4k textures usually mean more detail across a surface. If the surface is big (like a huge wall), and the texture resolution was low, the lack of detail is felt at 1080p too.

Nice, we need this for so many other textures in the game.  I dont understand why the game has such varying texture levels.

You can blame that on the Playstation 4 limited memory capacity and used as the baseline for other platforms. Them also being lazy or time-constrained to re-check and make adjustment for every low-res textures with higher resolution for the better and more powerful platforms. They eventually had to do this for the DLC add-on, due to community pointing it out and the developer apply "some" fixes to the very known ones. Meanwhile, they still ignore the rest that hasn't been made publicly known. Due to this, the Playstation 4 was left without the DLC upgrades, because they cannot budget in the higher texture resolution into memory any longer.

That's a very good explanation. The intergrade release does indeed have lots of texture resolution upgrades, but still not enough. I guess they didn't want the file size to make a big jump either. They actually kept the 90gb filesize from the original release (using oodle for better compression)

Yes! Thanks for doing this. The textures in 7th Heaven has always bugged me of how muddy it looks.
