Would you be willing to add a version of this mod or a new mod that also removes the shoulder pads on the Midgar Infantry soldier outfit? I'd love that! (:
I don't think any of my mods are working. I made the ~mods folder and put only 4 in there, Simple Shoulder Pad Remover, the aerith short skirt, Most Combative Team Members, and Max Materia Slots - 8 slots - 4 pairs - All Equipment. I know the visual mods aren't working so that makes me assume the other 2 aren't working either. The only other thing I used was a widescreen mod from Github. Any ideas?
Are there folders that you're putting into mods folder? Like, if you unzip a file it usually creates a new folder. Is it doing that? If so, ust remove the files from the folder and the mods should work fine. Unless there are conflicting mods. For example if you're using two Cloud outfit mods, they might need merging into one etc Another issue is if the mod itself mods a certain aspect of the game. This modder does put warnings on his mods that you can only use 1 mod that tweaks a certain file. If you're using two then they'll be conflicting with each other. So that's those only reasons that your mods might not be working to my eyes....
Chris rubino please update the mod, i found this bug using all together turtle neck, Holster and Shoulder pad remover, if put all together (updated files) i have this bug as you can see in the picture. If i remove one it gives all body problem, if i remove another it give middle body problem. Can't use all together. I had to remove all the three mods at the moment so i post it in all the three mods pages.
EDIT: Also note this has been tested with Cloud 4K Upscaled Textures mod from Romi969, dunno which one is incompatible with the other maybe, could you double check between both authors and maybe find where the problem is?
since you are using a mod that also use the same Cloud textures asset, then I think that issue caused my current textures (alpha textures maps) just being overwritten by other mods. So the issue rise and you will some get weird result caused by this mods conflict.
There is nothing I can do for it. Just kindly disabled / remove the other mod that also using Cloud's outfit textures before using my mod.
Btw, did you try to put my mods to the last order in the list of your mod loader? I hope this trick will solving your problem.
Would it be possible to remove his gauntlet and possibly his gloves? I know I would I'd Greatly apricate it. Thank you for your work on these mods I can tell this is a true labor of love for you.
Let’s see if I have time and motivation to figure out how to swap or cook a custom mesh into FF7 Rebirth.
Regarding the developers made heavy customization for their UE4.26, everything will need a time to figure out what they done. But no worries, the FF7 Rebirth still very young. Maybe for next couple of days, someone will figure out the easier way how to making custom mesh mod for FF7 RB!
For now, it is impossible. If we remove that wide belt then there is a geometry gap between top body and lower body part will be appear. Yes, we can replace with a complete Cloud custom model body like we can do it for FF7 Remake, but for now injecting custom mesh/geometry data into uasset in FF7Rebirth is very hard to do.
But do not worries, FF7 Rebirth modding is still on its very early days. As time by, many smart friends will figure out how to injecting mesh data or even make a decent tools like what we have for FF7 Remake now. :)
I have to swapped the original standard material (as it don’t have alpha masked texture maps like the default Aerith’s body material does) file with an existing material file that have alpha masked texture maps.
After that I’m starting to painting alpha mask for parts which I want to be hide.

Life, work, gaming and modding balance. lmao!
If you can do this, can you remove Yuffie's shoulderpad and armguard?
I'm still not reach her location yet (I only can imagine that I will love to play that Dolphin race!)
Now you can download it from here:

Happy gaming and cheers,
