Fantastic mod AceroSteel, really brings the old steam version to life and makes it feel like a HD-2D remake. If you ever felt the urge, FFV could do with your touch too ;)
edit: fixed Hey! Love the way this looks and would love to give it a try, but having issues launching the game. atma weapon mod is installed but whenever I replace the obb folder the game crashes upon opening. The game opens and launches fine but when I swap out the folder it doesn’t launch anymore.
I'm not sure if it's compatible, but from what I understood, the "Brave Steel Sane Alts and Fixes" mod, as the name suggests, is a fix for the original mod, and the "Final Fantasy VI Brave Steel Mod v1.0" mod complements the "Brave Steel Sane Alts and Fixes"? Because I installed all three.
I really wish I could run this mod. I got the FFVI old steam version, then ran the Atma Weapon mod... which failed. Dropped the obb folder from brave steel in my FFVI directory anyway, no go.
First Install the Atma Weapon Mod. When it asks you about changing character sprite just stick with the default option. Then continue with the installation until you have everything selected that you want from that mod. Afterward simply copy and paste the "obb" folder from this mod into you "Final Fantasy 6" folder that you have on Steam.
Hey guys, great mod. I'm noticing sometimes there are black boxes over save points and the guards in Narsh opening are also black squares when they come on screen. Any idea what's going on?

I need a detailed set of instructions to get this setup.

I can't wait to see what you can do with this. I'm sure I'm not alone.
