If you would like to use another mod modifying the same files, here is a brief overview of the changes:
< EQUIPMENT >
droptable.nxd -> For the new weapon upgrade path.
equipitem.nxd -> For modded weapons, gear and accessories.
itemshopstock.nxd -> For the new weapon upgrade path.
recipe.nxd -> For the new weapon upgrade path.
< GAMEPLAY >
action.nxd -> Animation cancelling
attackparam.nxd -> Potency of actions and abilities, which was fine-tuned for the mod. Status Ailments for Shiva and Odin.
command.nxd -> Unified cooldown system, Airborne abilities, special actions like Void Slash (Zantetsuken 1).
playercommandbuilder.nxd -> Fixed Ability Set for Blind Justice (Ramuh), Wings of Light (Bahamut), Arm of Darkness (Odin), Serpent's Cry (Leviathan).
skill.nxd -> Abilities cost and description
< BUFF / ITEMS >
buff.nxd -> Buff provided by modded tonics; Tonic of the Brave (Strength) & Tonic of the Fierce (Stoneskin). Status Ailments for Shiva and Odin.
item.nxd -> Name and description for the modded tonics.
< DIFFICULTY >
I would suggest using the Custom Difficulty mod done by Maybri. Here are the custom settings I was using:
- Story Mode: Boss Damage adjusted to 110% | Enemy Damage adjusted to 100%
- Action Mode: Boss DMG 140% | Enemy DMG 120%
- Final Fantasy Mode: Boss DMG 170% | Enemy DMG 140%
- Ultimaniac Mode: Boss DMG 300% | Enemy DMG 200%
- Stagger Gauge: 60 / 80 / 90 / 125
- Flinching Resistance : 120 / 175 / 200 / 375
- Boss HP: 70% / 100% / 125% / 125% -> This one should not be changed due to how some boss fights deal with DPS Check.
- Regular Enemy HP: 80% / 100% / 90% / 100%
- Enemy Aggression: 4 / 4 / 4 / 6
