Upcoming Update might include:: Support the hair color for older Noctis model, Prompto retexture -----------------
It would be nice if you help me to add some good looking pictures to the gallery. Of course I will try that for myself, but actually I was just modding instead of playing the game since one and a half week. :)
I know this is years down the line, but I did it just like the read-me and the description and only his hair turned brown. His jacket and everything didn't turn brown at all.
Hey, there. I'm not sure if you're still working on this mod or not. Or if you're taking requests. But I did have one request. Would it be possibly to remove the brown on the Prince's Fatigues? I love the navy blue along with the brighter buttons and zippers, and the design for the shirt. I don't mind the brown too. But personally I think it would be much better if the jacket, glove, and boots all matched. Ya know? Like. It's all the navy blue color. Similar to what his Vanilla outfit looks like. If you can't do it, I understand. I just figured I would ask. Great mod though. Been using it for a while now! :)
I really love the new noctis design especially since it’s still so lore friendly. His blonde hair works so well too. Is there a way you could make an alternate version where noctis’ shirt stays the same as his vanilla outfit with the first alternate set however? It was the one part of his outfit I really liked. Obviously if you can’t its no harm done but I figured I’d at least ask.
it would be fun to see something like : noctis with something like squall ignis with something like balthier Gladios with something like Jecht Prompto with cloud or tidus textures
Well the mod is made for changing the game files, not just swap textures. When I tried Special K for FFXV I always ran into problems like loading errors or thaats textures appeard 1 second after scene changes, which is totally annoying in cutscnes. That's when I decided to do my own mod.
But because of this you can mix my mod with any other special K injection mod. You could download set 1 or the optional files for blonde hair and the navy-blue coat and then just add the texture swap with the special K method. This would just overwrite the specific texture you want.
Amazing work! This noctis skin actually fits pretty damn good into the game.
I have a question, im tryharding to import some new textures and start modding for this game, I already figured how to extract .earc and .btex files, also reimporting .dds textures into the .btex files and back to .earc.
But im stuck now, cause my game show an error at start: "Menu\DynamicTextureLoader.cpp(87):path != nullptr"
concretly modifying "autoexternal.earc" from character/nh/nh00/model_010/sourceimages/
So first i've checked if my new .dds files have some name/compression/resolution mismatch and they didnt (same mip maps, same intel dx10 compression...) I build it again to be sure but still dont get rid of the error.
Sorry, but I can't help in this case because I didn't run in this error so far.
I could imagine that you might repack it in a wrong way, but the only trouble that happened to me then was that the texture showed up completely black.
Maybe you're putting the highimages (4k textures) in with a wrong path. Inside the .earc archives theres are different file paths. When I repack things I always put the edited files into the original steam path \common\FINAL FANTASY XV\datas\[...]. With this method it's always along the right path.
Feel free to send me your packed files via private message and I can search for a possible mistake. Don't worry, I won't steal your ideas or edits. :)

Your hard work and attention to detail is worthy of a Kudo and my full Endorsement.
