Thanks for this, it's supposed to be open world and you keep finding collisions in places that don't make sense. Tenebrae and the rest of the endgame should let you explore but not. I imagine it was laziness or the silly mania of giving delivery dates that are impossible to meet and being half done as always
technically yeah but removing the collision in insomnia is.. kinda tricky to say the least. since the collision file is connected with the street in insomnia. that means if im going to remove it i would automatically remove the collision of the roads which leads to falling down the map :< i dont think its possible to remove the collision in insomnia without removing the collision of the street.
no, its actually fixed removing collisions does not change that fact u just end up in altissia without godmode and with bugged menu. i performed it right, thoug. its just fixed so dont get ur hopes up
Thanks for this little guide, now I can explore to my hearts content, last time I was able to do that was when the god mode glitch was a thing where you could fly to just about anywhere with the Armiger. This'll be a fun alternative though. Hopefully you find a way to remove the collision in Insomnia and such, good luck!
thanks! yeah i will update once i find something. after goofing around with it for a while i realize there are some invisible walls in lestallam near the taelpar tal and some walls in the surrounding area where the behemoth is. not quite sure if its possible to remove all the collisions in the game but i will try :>
if u want to remove ALL invisible walls,u can use a cheat table, increasing ur jump hight to 100 an jump a couple of times. It just unloads them. Even in ardin fight. Still cant get godmode to work, tried it 47 times. Its just fixed. this is only experimental, though, as when u clip through wrong places (places with low ceiling), u get stuck and have to reload. U need to be able to jump at least 50 blocks high. Btw, no collision dosnt do anything for me, so it might be incompatible with chocobo mods.
havent really noticed much collision difference since i think i play pretty normally but i guess thats a sign that it works thanks. You dont really mention a way to revert the cartanica collision removal, do i just delete the file, because i dont have the original file since the instructions didnt mention making backup.
Great find but ,. sadly there is not much to explore.. nothing really interesting.. if there is hidden stuff.. i did not found nothing yet.. you fall under the map most of the time and there is nothing.
Does this mod allow me to jump over the fence outside of lestallum? I deleted the files as told and downloaded the one as told yet when i load into the game I cant jump over the fence in lestallum nor ontop of many objects such as parked cars or some barrels near walls and such. I never really messed around too much with where I can and can't jump so I honestly have no clue if its working.
lestallum is kinda tricky there still some collisions attached to it, looking at the ingame files its not easy to remove it either. there are some fences in the cleigne region also in duscae which you can jump over.
