Standarized 100% respawn and 20% Gil for all chests in the game. Loot has not been modified
Update: as reported from users, the mod actually converts some of your text to spanish.
I've adressed the cause, and I'm working in a solution for EN language.
When update is done, new versions 1.0.en and 1.0.es will appear in files
tab for users to download. Until then, Loots 100 only works for spanish lang. Sorry for the inconveniences.

Purpose and reasons behind this mod
TL;DR is for reducing the amount of time praying RNGesus for your desired item. It only changes the percentages, not the items.

Detailed version
  • The own SQEX's FFXII game director in charge after the leave of Yasumi Matsuno, Hiroyuki Itō, recognized that the loot system wasnt working the better (source)
  • Some players refuse to accept that every gameplay was planned to be different in terms of loot, and keep trying for hours and hours for that chest which contains the desired item to spawn, despite the odds being even below 1%.
  • Also, some players preffers to find an item instead of just Gil, which by the way is coded to happen often.
  • Finally, and more excruciating issue for completionists, some non-respawnable chests from high-end dungeons (most of them at Lhusu & Henne mines) has a not-100% chance to appear, making a giant outcome difference between players who has luck from others who has not, despite both had to struggle and effort the same to reach these chests.

By regular basis, this mods does the following:
  • To partially adress the imperfect loot system, all chests have now a 100% chance to respawn*, and a 20% chance of contain Gil
*Some non-respawn chests now have a 100% chance to spawn, succesfully removing luck factor

If you are curious about how much this changes the vanilla numbers, they usually had a %respawn range from 50 to 75%, with a 50% chance to contain Gil. But there were some very unique chests which has a 1-10% respawn (including some non-respawn ones), and special mention to Cerobi steppes' chests having a ~10-20% respawn rate

Beware
that with the lowering of %Gil to 20, even with the 100% chance rate, you will find far less Gil than usual in your regular adventure.
However, cash should never be an issue for you (since you can sell the excess of items and stolen loot)

If you like the idea of going after a chest whith a minimum chance to success for long hours, or agree with the statement of having a different gameplays based on your luck with the looting, then THIS MOD IS NOT FOR YOU

Installation, Update & language support
Update: as reported from users, the mod actually converts some of your text to spanish. I've adressed the cause, and I'm working in a solution for EN language. When update is done, new versions 1.0.en and 1.0.es will appear in files tab for users to download. Until then, Loots 100 only works for spanish lang. Sorry for the inconveniences.
  • If you are using default english for the game, skip this step
By some reason, most game files structure are internally copy/pasted and separated in different folders for each language. This is the reason behind many other mods requiring the US language to work.

There is by the way an easy way to make this work for your language:
  • Navigate to this mod's folder: ps2data > plan_master > us
  • Determine which code is used for your current language (us (by default), es (spanish), fr, kr, it, in, de, cn,  ch)
  • Change the name of "us" folder from first step to your current language in the second step (for example, I've renamed the folder to "es" (without commas), because I'm playing in Spanish)

YOU MUST DO THIS BEFORE LOADING THE MOD with Draklab

Now, to Install:
DrakLab - Mod Loader is required, as mentioned above, because files are copy/pasted and separated in different folders for each language, thus making an injection with VBF Browser oftenly leads to a wrong path since this program cannot distinguish which language folder are the files for, and picks one at random
  • Open DrakLab, select and open game's VBF file as usual.
  • Add Mod > Navigate to "loots 100" folder and select it.
  • If you do selected the right folder, a new mod called "loots 100" will appear in your mods list in DrakLab.

To uninstall:
  • Open DrakLab, select and open game's VBF file as usual.
  • Select the mod called "loots 100" from the mod list in DrakLab.
  • Press the red button to uninstall from your game, or the recycle bin to also remove it from your computer.
*If you incorrectly installed the mod without changing to your appropiate language (read language support above), I reccomend you to uninstall &
remove from your computer (via DrakLab), and then redownlowad the mod and do the necessary changes from language support section)

To update: I do allways recommend Uninstall and delete, then redownload and reinstall it with DrakLab.

Customization
Along with DrakLab, you will need a program to edit the tables called TZA Treasure Editor. As previous lecture, I reccomend you to read the mod's documentation. You can do your own DrakLab treasure list mod with this program alone and VBF File Browser. However, some extra steps are necessary. With the following instructions you can load and edit my loots 100 mod's loot table, resulting in a bit easier process.

To alter and create your own custom tables BASED on loot 100 mod:
*WARNING: before do this, uninstall and remove the mod from your DrakLab program (ignore that if you didnt loaded it yet)
  • As optional, create a backup for your loots 100's folder, since the TZA Treasure Editor will overwrite it.
  • Open TZA Treasure Editor, select the loots 100's following folder: loots 100 > ps2data > plan_master
  • If you do selected the right folder, the sections of the program will become selectable and editable. Navigate and modify at will (keep percentages at 0-100 ranges, though), dont forget to save changes before closing.
  • Procceed to install as normally as described in the Installation section.

Known Issues & Disclaimer
  • I'm under suspect that mod may wont work in other versions rather than es, even when following the steps from lagunage support. Further confirmations may be required, so be free to report if it fails to work for you.

This is my first mod, and I'm also a non-native english writer, so typo errors and other mistakes could be made. You are wellcome to notify them to me through the thread I've created for that very purpose.
Unrespectful posts and/or threads created apart for that topic would be ignored, deleted and/or reported.

All issues can be reported in the Posts or Bugs tabs
Dont expect much support or future updates, since every doubt should be self-adressed in the mod's desc tab, and since this mod is completed at its release (no wip left).

Take my words of wisdom and allways keep a second save slot before using any mod. While this one only changes percentages, its barely tested and issues, while very rare, may happen. Save often and rotate between different save slots to come back in time if something gets broken for you
In prevention to possible users reporting that this does not work, I'll  encourage them to fully read the mod's description, specially the language support section which will probably solve 99% of this issues
For the case of Cerobi Steppes, which chests are designed to be opened with Diamond Armlet equiped, remember that when not containing gil (20%), the chances from common/rare items are allways 90/10%. This is how diamond armlet works ingame and there is currently no way to modify these values, nor want to do it either. So, even with 100% chance to respawn and 80% chance of containing item, the real % for rare treasure is ~8%.

As said before, this mod REQUIRES DrakLab to be installed. If you are trying to directly inject files with VBF Browser, it wont work
And finally, this mod is NOT COMPATIBLE with other mods that modify loot tables (check for conflicts in DrakLab mod loader)

Tools Used & Credits
VBF File Browser - Used for extract my own files to use with TZA Treasure Editor
DrakLab - Necessary to inject files correctly
The Zodiac Age Treasure Editor - Necessary to edit the loot tables
