Using the HITS index with real weapon stats I have made a My Weapon Stats file for use with the resistance mod to give the damage in Far Cry 5 some realism. In addition, I included the Excel spreadsheet that shows how the calculations work and will allow you to calculate damage however you wish for any game you might want to tweak.

Description The Hornady HITS Index formula is used in Excel to calculate the damage for all weapons in Far Cry 5. The stats are based on what seemed to be the best correlation between real versions of in-game weapons. The spreadsheet also features a multiplier to adjust overall damage using the HITS Index as well as a Scale Factor to allow you to adjust how much damage will deviate from the mean. Sadly, nothing in the spreadsheet affects stats in-game. You will have to manually tweak the stats using Resistance Mod Installer's Weapon Editor.
Changes made include higher damage, bullet velocity, ammo capacity, and weapon FOV.
Author's Notes
The Resistance mod IS REQUIRED to use the 'My Weapon Stats' file. The file is a resource used by the Resistance Mod's Installer.
These weapon stats alone will NOT make your game ballistics real, but it might give you a more authentic touch to the lethality of firearms vs your average human NPCs.
Because, I can not change things such as recoil, weapon accuracy, or NPC Health, most full-auto weapons will be much more deadly than they would be in reality with higher damage values. For that reason, vehicles will get destroyed very easily by full auto weapons and .50 cal, and machine guns are OP. I recommend using Weapon Recoil Increaser for the recoil.
