ok so i copyed the two files and pasted them in to the 32 folder under bin folder and it still says v1.06 ingame. anybody else have the problem? i use it over ubisoft connect
This way to downgrade DOES NOT work for Steam, (should) only work for Ubisoft Launcher. (That's why errors like: "ubiorbitapi_r2_loader.dll" / "uplay_r1_loader.dll" / "UPLAY_xxxx..." may appear).
If you want to downgrade the Steam version, I recommend using the Console directly from Steam. This will create a new download of the game with the desired version. Then you just replace (BACKUP first) the files from the original to the new ones created from the Steam Console.
There's a great guide made by Les daltons which explain in deep this process, also teaches you to Add/Merge some common mods (Ziggy's / Mud's) and gives you Tips. (Give him a like!)
(If the errors mentioned above also happen to you through Ubisoft Connect, you could download .dll(s) files and import them directly to the folder where the .exe of the game is located. This is not tested!)
Quite late to the party here but trying to play on Ubisoft Connect and the game will not launch due to "ubiorbitapi_r2_loader.dll was not found" and uplay_r1_loader.dll not found. Managed to get these DLLs elsewhere and tried placing them in my game directory and it just led to "The procedure entry point UPLAY_USER_Getcredentials could not be located in the dynamic link library FC3_d3d11.dll"". Anything I can do to fix or did Ubisoft Connect break this?
had the same issue and fixed it by verifying the game files in ubi connect right click on the game manage then verify files it said some files were corrupted downloaded the fixes and it worked after

I still can't use mods. In the main menu it says v 1.06 still. I hope to find a solution. I miss the modded version. Not the retail version. Please advice!
