    I can't get past the crafting part of the tutorial. Is it bugged?
    No, it's not bugged, and you can get through it if you do it right. During the crafting section of the tutorial, you may not have the items needed to craft the things Dennis asks you to. As long as you attempt to craft something, he will move on to the next part of the tutorial. If trying to craft something doesn't work it's because you are doing it too soon and you need to wait for him to finish talking first.

    How do I deploy the wingsuit? How do I deploy the parachute? How do I switch between grenades and molotovs?
    The key to deploy the wingsuit was changed. To deploy it, hold down the jump key while in the air. The key to deploy the parachute is the same key as you'd press to change seats in a vehicle (and that's the key you rebind in the options menu if you want to rebind the parachute key).

    The key to switch between grenade types was also changed. The mouse wheel is now used to cycle through the weapons you have equipped, so the key to switch between grenades was changed to G. This can be changed via the options menu in-game.

    Do I have to start a new game after installing this mod or switching to a different edition of the mod?
    Yes! This mod will not work with game saves that were created before the mod was installed, or while a different version of the mod was installed.

    Is it possible to get 100% completion with this mod?
    Due to some of the less useful crafting recipes being merged together, you will not be able to craft the amount of items that are listed in the in-game handbook. Other than that, you can complete every piece of content 100%.

    Are you still working on this mod?
    Not at the moment, but as of December 2018 I still plan to return to work on it in the future. If you're interested in reading about my future plans for this mod you can do so here.

    Is there anyway to incorporate the privateer uniform mod into this?

    I used to be able to do it myself but the entitylibrary.fcb file doesn't seem to be extracting correctly.
    I think the gibbed tools I'm using aren't up to date but I can't find a more recent version.

      Most common reason for that archive not extracting properly is because the file path is too long. It's a limitation of the modding tools. Try moving it to your desktop and extract it there.

    Should I be able to tag targets with the camera and gun or is something broken on my end?

      No, tagging has been disabled for the regular and hardcore variants of this mod. Only the casual variant allows you to tag.

      Which file needs to be edited to restore tagging? I thought it would be restored by setting tag to true in Binoculars.xml but that doesn't seem to have done anything.

      Restoring the tagging feature would be a pretty complicated thing to do. It's not just a value you change in a file. It would require hex editing the .dll files along with modifications to multiple files within the patch archives.

    i "installed" the casual version of this mod and created a new save and it doesn't work is it because i have far cry 3 v1.06

      This mod is updated for the latest version of the game, including the update that happened at the end of May last year (which should be version 1.06, but they didn't change the version number so it still says version 1.05). If the mod isn't working for you that isn't the reason why. Make sure you're only trying to use this mod with a legal copy of the game because it won't work otherwise.

      You shouldn't be using that mod. This mod has been updated for the current version of the game. Downgrading the game to an older version and attempting to use this mod with that could cause issues.

    When crafting better gear, it will say that I need " Unique animal skin".... what does this mean where do I get it it?

      Some of the Path of the Hunter side missions have you hunt a unique variant of an animal. You need to kill and skin them to get a unique animal skin.

    since the gunslinger and marathon man skills were removed is it still possible to use the gunslinger takedown and and can you complete the tatau

      No, the gunslinger takedown isn't possible. For some unknown reason that one skill doesn't like another modification I made to this game so it isn't functional. I don't know what is preventing that skill from working which is why I removed it.

      No, the tatau cannot be completed in this mod. That might be something I can fix if people actually care about that though.

    I play with hardcore - the height of the fall at which the character begins to receive damage is huge. The original was more realistic. Now I can practically not pay attention to the altitude and jump. Unrealistic
     
    Also SVD has a 10 round magazine. .44 Magnum is closer to 5.56 and certainly weaker than 7.62x51. Not to mention the .50 BMG - this cartridge is much more powerful. This is confirmed by characteristics and ballistic gel shooting.

      Fall damage is fine for me in mod! It was ridiculous stock. There's nothing "realistic" about pressing a button and jumping 4 feet in the air while running down a hill and then dying because you apparently committed suicide but jumping while running.

      What I found very unrealistic was the coding in the vanilla game - where from a very modest height you could fall, and die. Plus the inability to go up even a modest incline. I'll take the modifications in the mod over vanilla any day, any time.

      As for weapons: time and time again Ziggy has stated he's after game balance as his first-most rule. While a vast improvement over the vanilla game, the idea wasn't to turn it into a mil-sim.

    Is there a way to play this game without having to suffer through Uplay's bulls***? Every single time I see that "warning" screen when I try to play a game without their in-game overlay with the launch (not recommended) button I want to punch someone in the face. Is that just me? It's just me isn't it?

      Try creating a shortcut to the .exe (fc3 or fc3dx11) and adding -offline to the launch options. Then use that shortcut to start the game.

    The game modes are interesting, but I compare the casual mode with hardcore a lot since the difficulty does not change much but they are just some adjustments and that is why I recommend this for the HARDCORE MODE or some CUSTOM MODE:

    - It would be advisable to give weapons more realism (Because Jason is not a potential psychopath to be a full-time psychopath, he is more of a rookie who, as he progresses, becomes a killing machine.).

    -Enemies have a good reaction but they even look like fools when shooting Jason (only this example goes singular) the distance is paramount since he realizes one that is more likely to hurt you closely as a% 79 and medium range 45% (only a pirate by flare or shots in a row) increase the style of enemy shots is essential because they do not look like newbies, but they seem like one, and that means that instead of behaving like Rambo at the time of a conflict act more intelligent and discreet (supporting stealth more)

    -There are mods like "Poor BastArd aka MOD Nischebrod" or "Far Cry 3 Rebalanced" that make both the enemy and the ally have a different variety of weapons by classification, maybe in Ziggy's it can be improved.

    -They should place the Neverland 2 setting, maximizes playing time while maintaining difficulty.

    -They must place some option or design the same example of the Gyganisland mod.

    -Optional: in the Sleepingwsirens Modpack ReDux mod there is even a personalized variety of weapons that seems to be a good idea, I recommend taking into account if they seem to make unique weapons with the incentive to unlock it with challenges to maintain more playability.

    Has anyone attempted and succeeded in merging Ziggy's 4.04 (Hardcore) with Gygaisland mod (extreme)? I've tried a few times and found the wallet won't update so didn't play far into the game. There might be other bugs I didn't get to...
    I don't think I'm that good with Dunia tools and can't be sure I'm merging the files correctly. Even so, the two mods may be incompatible, though I have been using 3.21 and Gygaisland with great success (and hilarity) for years. Just want a new challenge.
    I appreciate that an infested island isn't everyones idea of fun, but it can lead to some frentic single-player action and a very different experience - I recommend it!

    I have 2 other small questions.
     
    1. Not all birds drop feathers, right? For example seagulls don't, at least I wasn't able to harvest feather off off seagulls so far.
     
    2. How can I zoom in when looking through a  weapon's scope? Mouse wheel switches weapons and I can't find anything about this in the controls menu.

      1. Feathers: only the vultures and crows provide feathers.

      2.Scopes: been far too long since I've used a sniper rifle as a main weapon (besides using one that I pick for a very specific, and limited purpose). Thus, not sure regarding how to zoom, if it's even possible. It might be you need to purchased the more expensive scope to get the greater magnification feature. Again I'd try searching on the forum on the subject. I'm fairly certain the default scope on a sniper weapon has no zoom capability.
