always need to go back to MIkes bar finishing the sidequest is a real torture machine , and we can also only doing each mission at a time ! !! dam ....
Haha that's an amazing feature by Scubrah for his mod, but it's a custom made feature that he scripted himself. You can't expect it to be in every mod, and I won't bother him to share everything he creates!
great pity it is , its really torturing all players that need to go back to npc finishing quests , i believe all mods need this function . And all quests can be done at the same time as well . Jesus . Well , at least we can run fast to all location with this mod , great job , bro . all guns act better than Scubrah i think , at infamous difficulty Scubrah's mod kills me with 1~2 shots (have to quick-save all the way down ), yet the same difficulty at Insanity Plus would not , so nice . Scubrah's enemies also see through all tress and grass with super far distance , makes fighting like battlefield or something alike , dam ... always get shot before any fight .
I first tried out the vanilla Insanity+ mod and liked the faster sprinting etc. However, I'm playing after a few missions and well past the tutorial, your mod with the same description as vanilla Realistic Combat, doesn't feature any of these: "Jump higher, walk faster, sprint faster, no sprint turn penalty, unlimited stamina, swim faster, unlimited breathing underwater, climb very steep slopes, no fall damage"
Is it meant to be this way? I thought it would offer fewer spongy enemies but none of the above is working atm. Could you let me know which file/s I'd need to change to get those?
I'm using the following of your mods: Insanity Plus - Realistic Combat (posted today 22nd), essential files, DLC machetes, 1. Outpost Respawn Timer & 'Outpost Cleared' Notification, 4. Weapon Icons, 5. Map Icons, 6. Syrette Icon, 9. Malaria Pill Animation, 10. FPS Cap, 14. Remove Sprinting & Aiming Blur, and Insanity Plus Enhanced Texture Addon.
That is very strange, as I tried out the Insanity+ Realistic Combat download and it all works fine for me!
I've seen your comment on my Steam post too, is your problem resolved now? I've never done actually played much of Insanity+ so I wasn't aware of the features appearing and disappearing, but thanks for letting me know what's happening.
Thanks for your replies :) Still have that problem with Insanity+ and Realistic Combat. What I had to do was edit the Stamina Drain section to keep it maxed in gamemodesconfig.xml so I could run without getting out of breath.
Btw, from a quick test you can prevent stamina from draining as it stops you from running slow (for those who don't have my issue with faster running etc not working) by adding this as when you get malaria at the start and during the first rescue mission because you'll run vanilla speeds:
I have no idea what values affect sprint speed and jumping, so I may have to go back to your Insanity+ vanilla mod to get those back but it means starting from scratch again. All I have is your files, no mods or edits til I noticed how slow I ran and lack of stamina - plus I always completely uninstalled the game and fresh installed each new mod install to avoid issues.
Ok no problem, so if you're still facing these issues here's the plan. I'll create a tutorial skip saved game which is definitely working with both vanilla combat and realistic combat versions, and then you can add whatever customisations you like on top of that. If things then break we'll have a better idea of what's going on!
I'll create the save sometime today, and if you have a preference for what character you'd like it to be with then let me know here in the next couple of hours.
I've created the tutorial skip saved game here. I've tested it with both vanilla and realistic combat (you can swap between them without restarting the game), on two different computers, and all the Insanity+ features are present and functional. It's playing as Marty but if that's not your preference you can use the playable NPC feature to change the character's look. Please can you give this a go at first without any customisations and see if it works, and then add any additions you'd lile? Thanks!
What was weird is that while I was running through the tutorial I didn't get what you described about losing the super speed and regaining, for me it worked the whole time, so I don't know what's up with that!
Made progress and thanks for the file. Used your save file, and it does indeed work for Instanity+ with Realistic Combat and retains super speed, stamina, etc. I only installed the base mod with FC2 clean installed; no customisations were used. I did also try without your save file to be sure and it still works.
Now it is working, going to install the game with your customisations plus the texture mod and start properly. The game feels much nicer with my Usain Bolt powers back, thanks for helping :)
Yes, all are working perfectly now with customisations. Thanks! Without this mod, the game wasn't as fun, and now I'm loving it.
One quick question I've never seen this option or file (maybe you removed it), you state this on the main page: Redone the tutorial skip saved games so they work with the outpost respawn script. The alternate start now has only weapons unlocked and upgraded, leaving the rest of the upgrades to be decided on by the player, giving a small amount of gameplay and purpose for gaining diamonds.
Excellent! I'm really glad it's working and there's not a bug that means I have to redo lots of stuff.
That bit on the main page is a carry over from my other mods as I saved some time by just copying over all the details as it's 99.9% the same. There's no secret to making the tutorial skip saves, I just play through the tutorial a bunch of times, and as Vanilla+, Realism+ and Chill+ saves are all compatible with each other I made two sets of saves, one with nothing unlocked and one with the weapons unlocked. As Insanity+ saves aren't compatible and it's not a very popular mod I didn't bother with making the tutorial skip saves a second time, but I'll upload a version including the save I made for you at some point soon.
is there any way to just get these changes you have ? not all the other ones >> Jump higher, walk faster, sprint faster, no sprint turn penalty, unlimited stamina, swim faster, unlimited breathing underwater, climb very steep slopes, no fall damage.
hello Boggalog...I have issues after installing this mod when I enter and open farcry2.exe it says "The procedure entry point ?RunGame@@YA_NPAUHINSTANCE_@@PBD@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library D:\New folder\Player Folder\Ubisoft\Far Cry 2\bin\farcry2.exe" do you know how to fix this? tnxx waiting for your reply ----my game is at version.1.0.3 without fortunes dlc
I'm not sure about your particular issue but the fortunes dlc is required for the mod to work. Once you have a version with the dlc it will most likely start to work.
oh nevermind but thank you.. I already fix it by reinstallling the game and replacing only patch files also one thing I want to change in this mod is to slow down the running speed and walking it makes me more easier to play this game and dodging the bullets fast so how can I do that? also this a great mod sir bogalog I appreciate your time and effort working this mod :)
¿You can edit speed run and walk? is very fast please reduce speed and ingrease Jump and ¿you can add sneak walk with machete?, i remember one mod with that option is undetectable.
It looks like there are at least four verion of this mod , just wondered which one is the most difficult one ,,,,? english is not my country language , this insanity verion looks like the most difficult one , but the discription says infinate stama or something alike? it s really hard to figure out the difference between all this four mods ,,,, for a not good english reader , may need some hightlighted words or so ....
Only install the mod that you want to. Inside the download there are the *main files" and "new game+ files*, again only install the one you want to play.
