If anyone wants an easier way to install this, here you go:
1. Download the mod in .ba2 format here: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout76/mods/60?tab=files 2. Extract the mod file to your Fallout 76/Data directory. 3. Open Fallout76.ini, and copy the whole sResourceArchive2List line under [Archive] 4. Open your Fallout76Custom.ini, or make one if you don't have one already (in Documents\My Games\Fallout 76) 5. Paste the line into Fallout76Custom.ini. Make an [Archive] heading above it if there isn't one. 6. Add this mod to the end of the end of the line:
Cant get mine to work, i even tried adding the Power Armor Clean HUD.ba2 to all the other ini files which had the Archive section. Do i place the actual ba2 file into the same folder as the other ones or does it go somewhere else?
I used the file you shared here and then used sResourceArchive2List = instead of sResourceIndexFileList and it loaded just fine for me. Hope this helps anyone having trouble!
Do you need to add the whole string to sResourceArchive2List = SeventySix - Textures01.ba2, SeventySix - Textures02.ba2, SeventySix - Textures03.ba2, SeventySix - Textures04.ba2, SeventySix - Textures05.ba2, SeventySix - Textures06.ba2, Power Armor Clean HUD.ba2
or just the sResourceArchive2List = Power Armor Clean HUD.ba2
Hello. I just wanted to thank you for doing an easier way of installing the mod. With time I can figure out how to get it to work, but it is annoying when you can just make it easy for people. That's what you did here, an easy step-by-step guide that worked flawlessly. Thanks again!
Thank you very much. I can confirm that this method Manic020 did for us works perfectly. I hope Erfet and other modders learn about this method and make it the standard because its way easier.
Great mod Manic! -could you post the .ba2 file here on NexusMods as a download? -I am always careful about files that could have malware, viruses, etc.
I just wanted to post for those having issues that i see a lot of people using the ini line "sResourceArchive2List =". (notice the location of the "2") My ini shows the line as "sResourceArchiveList2 =" Could be why so many people are randomly having issues installing these mods this way, which is the easiest i've found so far...
In case anyone didn't know, you place the .ba2 into your Data folder. Obvious for experienced modders, but since it wasn't stated, beginners would get lost. :)
Hello! Do you know is it possible to show the power armor inventory view in the middle of the screen instead a crooked standard inventory view in the left?
the file on the mod page isn't a folder, archive 2 doesn't want to see it, and your secondary instructions in post don't say what to do with the actual ba2 file after changing the ini
really unfortunate, I need this to help with headaches
ba2 goes into data and you have to literally make an ini file in documents named Fallout76Custom.ini not change the original fallout76.ini and all the file needs is that single line author posted
works. thank you. should assume not everyone is familiar with this way of modding and be a little more clear with instructions.
now if I can just get a mod that removes the shader effects off power armor as well and deals with the ridiculous headbobbing, maybe I can get the headaches under control
Can you remove the Transparent overlay that goes over the entirety of your screen when you use a higher FOV https://puu.sh/C3iVc/6ead5c4972.png like seen in this image
That would be amazing, also if you could get rid of the same effect in the pip-boy screen and the rain effect while in PA. All of those are messed up with increased FoV. I've been trying to edit that myself but I can't find the correct file to edit.

Something like this?
FoV: 100 Resolution: 1920x1080
I used https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/24566/ to remove the overlay, and added the following to Fallout76Custom.ini to get the interface a little bit closer to the bottom of the screen.
Omegas UWS mod actually changes meshes , not textures. So the file that needs to be overwritten is inside "SeventySix - Meshes02.ba2". Easiest way is to put the loose files inside your Data folder and use Baka Tools to archive all of your loose files into one ba2 to be loaded (this is the procedure I recommend).
Baka Tool can make 2 different Ba2's when processing your installed mods: BakaFile - Textures.ba2 if you have installed any loose textures and BakaFile - Main.ba2 for other loose files.
Anyone know the UI PA geometry INI edits for 90 FOV using 1920x1080p resolution? Edit: -8 seemed to look okay with the above settings. -15 was to low and the UI was cut off at 90 FOV. Also thanks @CdrArchangel for the useful info. [Interface] fUIPowerArmorGeometry_TranslateZ=-8.0000
I prefer to use Baka Tool for installing my Fallout 76 mods. It would be nice to have both the .ba2 file and the loose files .zip available for downloading.

I like, that PA Q-Boy is situated in center and not on left side of monitor.
i swear i saw a twitch streamer do this.

For a manual install on FO76, should the Omegas UWS file also be added to Textures05.ba2 using Archive 2?

It works for Fallout76. Just copy it into the correct .INI file

Just wondering, How did you get the rainbow effect to work?
