    ( 9 ) Gold Bulion markers have been updated and redesigned.
    ( 10 ) Markers legends box have been redesigned.

    ( 1 ) TZMap-VanillaEnhanced has been updated to version 2.4

    ( 4 ) 4 new maps have been added for Pitt's area, for Union Dues and From
    Ashes To Fire quests, satellite view created with fo76utils tool, and
    more stylized pappermap view.
          This was made possible through TZmap's collaboration with the UniMap mod by Unikko. (Follow the instructions given on both mod pages to take advantage of this new map)
    TAKE NOTICE Pitt's maps are still under construction some areas still don't
    translate a clear image, this is due to the multiple levels of
    verticality in the maps which requires a very careful map assembly,
    better images will be built in the future.

    ( 5 ) Unibooks were created for all TZmaps, grouping the basemap with a layers of all the main markers.
    The Unibook version gives the user the ingame ability to switch between maps with and without markers, this means that you can turn markers on and off with a click of the button.
    Please note that UniMap mod is required to use these files.

    ( 6 ) TZMap-VanillaEnhanced light levels have been discarded and now only
    the brightest light levels from the warm/cold files will be available
    ( 7 ) Two variations of the TZMapWasteland maps were discarded and now
    only the complete basemap and basemap with markers will be available

    ( 8 ) TZMapSAT-Uplink has been completely rebuilt using the new updates of the fo76utils tool (in the end I decided to keep the new water rendering updates that
    give a more similar appearance to what you would find in the game, even
    if some areas are more difficult to distinguish some bodies of water,
    now that you can use multiple maps in the game you can always load
    another map to confirm it)

    ( 9 ) New Markers have been added to vendors, Stamps vendor, Nuka Cade vendor and Nuka-Cade Tokens vendor.

    base map types and start new version 1.0 as a group of files:

          Guidelines have been added to the TZNukeMaps (Projects an area
    reference circumference on the map and adds markers with some of the
    community's favorite spots to Nuke the end game bosses)(see the new
    images)

    ( 7 ) Workbench markers have been updated on all maps.
    ( 8 ) Bodies of water across all maps have been updated to include some
    previously unmarked shapes on the map and all shapes now benefit from an
    improved outline accuracy more similar to the shape you would find in
    game.

    ( 9 ) TZMapSAT-Uplink now includes different map variations to reflect some of the significant number of improvements to the fo76utils tool, three variants will be avaliable with or without markers. (see images and read description for more details).

    ( 10 ) Two new frames were designed for the TZMapSAT-Uplink and
    TZNukeMapSAT maps to celebrate the visual improvements brought to the
    map by the fo76utils tool. (see the new images) (the previous frame will still be available in builderspack)

    ( 11 ) BuildersPack has been updated to version 1.2.4
           The new SAT maps have been included.
           The new SAT map frames have been included.
           A new glow map has been included.
           User grid layer included.
           Nuke Silo Hatch markers have been included.

    ( 1 ) TZMM has been updated to version 1.6.3 for compatibility with the game version 1.6.2.15 Update 33 Invaders from Beyond.
           Map and compass markers referring to train stations, BOS faction,
    Raiders, Settlers and Purveyor now share the same golden color.
           (Ohio River Adventures shares the same marker as the Raiders settlement so it will also be affected by this color change)
           Workshop icons now have a slightly larger white border to find them more easily on the map.
           Team leader map markers are now transparent in the previously circular
    black area, so they don't cover other smaller markers.
           In addition, the team leader markers at the edge of the screen will
    periodically flash the team color determined by the chosen TZMM file,
    green or blue, to compensate for transparency and thus be quickly
    visualized.

    (Bethesda has made significant changes to some files, it will not be possible to test everything, please report any
    issues you find.)

    ( 1 ) TZMapSAT-Uplink has been updated to version 1.1.
          The map as been revised for color and brightness balance.
          Minor adjustments were made to the non-playable area of the map.
          A new sci-fi style frame was designed and added to the TZMapSAT-Uplink,
    replacing the Vanilla-Enhanced papermap (see image tab).

    ( 2 ) A new file has been added to the nukemaps list (03-NukeMapSAT) using the new modified Satellite view map.

    ( 3 ) TZMM has been updated to version 1.6.1. (Reuploaded some files were missing for cursor and compass markers )
          Fixed reduced size marker bug in targeting computer map caused by TZMM in previous version.
          TZMM will still work, if you like, as a tool to reduce the increased
    size of CAMP icons when using one of the TZMap files. The
    non-colored      markers version is still available, for those who
    prefer vanilla colors.
          (Please let me know if you encounter any problems)

    ( 4 ) BuilderPack has been updated to version 1.2.3.
         All modifications made to the TZMapSAT-Uplink were included in the
    pack, the new sci-fi frame and the map without the frame.
          New markers have been added: NukaColas, FirstAidBox and WeaponsArmorModsPlans markers locations.

    ( 1 ) Two new files were added presenting the new TZMapSAT-Uplink :
           Number 05 with and without roads.
           Number 06 with roads and all markers. ( see the image tab )

    This new map was made possible by the work of:

    • fo76utils (Simple utilities for extracting data from Fallout 4 and 76 files)
    • Epicestgamer (for bringing this to my attention, for extracting and building the basemap to which I only made small changes)

    ( 1 ) TZMapMarkers has been updated to version 1.5.2.
    ( 2 ) The player Camp icon and teammates camps have been changed from yellow to the chosen TZMM theme color.
    ( 3 ) The vendor icon has been changed to the original green color, as it is no longer the main Camp icon.
    ( 4 ) The other players Camps icons were changed from white to green, similar to the vendors icon.
    ( 5 ) Changes were made to TZMM files to fix the size of players' camps
    in maps with resolutions greater than 4k. (Still not working with 4k
    maps)
    ( 6 ) Changes were made to TZMM files to Increase zoom in and zoom out distance on the map.
    ( 7 ) Changes were made to TZMM files to Increased zoom in and zoom out speed on the map.
    ( 8 ) Changes were made to TZMM files to Increased dragging speed on the map.
    ( 9 ) The TZMapMarkers file 06 now contains two options:
          NotTweaked - Vaunilha Colors only with the Camp icons reduction fix. (Working with 4k maps)
          Tweaked - Vaunilha Colors, Other players Camps icons were changed from white to green, and the zoom in out tweaks.

    all      camps from white to the vanilla color yellow)

    - The numerical order of the files in the download tab has been changed
    and a new combination of location markers file has been added. (The file
    number you were using previously may not be the same now, check before
    downloading)
    - Vendors markers have been redesigned to have a more coherent aesthetic with each other and are now subtitled in the legend
    by currency type.
    - The Wayward merchants, Blue Rigde Caravan and Pleasant Valley Claim Ticket were added to Vendors.
    - Some daily quest marker positions have been adjusted on the map.
    - Random encounter markers have been updated for the changes that came with the wastelanders update.
    - The resource markers have been updated for the changes that came with the wastelanders update.
    - The resource markers have also undergone a small change to give color
    blind people a chance to distinguish between the 16 markers types. (I
    hope it helps)
    - The workbench markers have been updated for the changes that came with the wastelanders update and various positions
    have been adjusted so that they are not covered by the map markers
    (please note that some workbench markers are now adjacent to the map
    markers so they are not covered, so the position will not be exact).
    - Workbench markers have also been redesigned so that they can be distinguished by color blind people.
    - TZNukeMap has been updated to version 2.1 (nukemap was reduced to colored and green maps only).

    TZMapMarkers has been updated to version 1.2 to work with version 1.3.2.10 of the game.
    Version 1.2 brings some changes, a glow has been added to the cursor similar to
    the original as well as quest and event markers so that they stand out
    more on the map, these changes affect all files.

    TZMap has been updated with the new vendor locations and new daily quest,
    this updates files nº 02 / 03 / 07 / 11 / 12 / 13 / 15 / 16 / 18.
    New requested file (everything but resources) was added to the list as nº19.

    TZNukeMap has been updated with all known locations for Wendigo Colossus spawn.
    (keep in mind that there is a 1 in 15 chance of spawn but it seems to refresh
    every 5 to 6 minutes, so you need to clear all enemies in the zone of
    the marker leave for about 5m and come back, keep repeating until you
    find it.)

    File 05-Vault-Tec BLUE-LIGHTBLUE from TZMapMarkers was missing the colored main quest icon in the hud compass
    when marking a door entrance and is now replaced, please reinstall.

    TZMapMarkers have been updated to v1.1 for wastelanders. Enjoy.
    TZMap will only be updated when there is enough information to justify
    editing all Mod files, due to the large amount of files they are not
    easily updated, it takes time and I only do this in my spare time. If
    you know something that needs to be changed or added please leave the
    information in the comments, it will save me quite a lot of time.

    Some daily quest markers that were hidden by the game markers are now
    adjusted to a better position, this updates the files nº 3 / 11 / 15 /
    16.
    By popular request I added 2 new files to TZMap for random wasteland encounters.
    Added new files TZMapMarkers, custom colors for cursor and quest map markers,
    5 color
    themes,(Pink&LightBlue)(Orange&Yellow)(Red&Orange)(Green&Yellow)(Blue&LightBlue),
    this will probably stop working when wastelanders is released, if so
    remove and wait for update.

    Builders Pack

    If you don't find the markers combination you want among the available files you can use the builderspack to create your own favorite combination.
    The builderspack consists of a selection of psd files for creative use and personal customization of your map.

    Steps:
    1- Download the BuildersPack and build your map, feel free to do whatever you want.
    2- Share a link with me for your map, you can use something like google drive, and the file can be a .psd .png .dds or .ba2
    3- Once I see your link your file will be available with your name tag in the download tab under Opcional Files / Custom-Tagname-TZMap

    If you want to try to create your own ba2 click on spoiler and follow the steps below
    How to create a ba2 file from your custom map

    Tools needed:
    - Archive2 (You can get it from bethesda creation kit)
    - Photoshop or Paint.net (Free option)
    (or any other that has the ability to save image files in dds-DirectDraw Surface format)


    1. At this point you have your image as you want it, the resolution should be (4096p by 4096p) to Vanilla size or (8192p by 8192p) for 8k.
        Save it to dds format with the name (Papermap_city_d), in the options select DXT1/BC1 (in this case I don't see any improvement in going higher than this).

    Showing as an example on Paint.net as it is a free tool. Using photoshop you must select the same options, the interface varies depending on the version or addons installed.



    2. Create the following folders on your desktop and add your dds file as shown below.

         textures/interface/pip-boy/Papermap_city_d.dds


    3. Run Archive2

    Select New File


    Select Format DDS and press OK


    Select Archive / Add Folder and select textures folder created earlier or simply drag it to Archive2


    It should look like this


    Save it with whatever name you want and you're done

    in-game look at mapbooks

    For some reason i only have 2 mapbooks(3rd being the default/sample one) working out of 7. I added every map into fallout76custom.ini and it seems it's not working. I will also include my fallout76custom.ini as a code below, maybe i messed up something there(not an advanced user... but im getting there... heh). For some 3rd party mods listed below, i use FO76 Quick Configuration tool.

    I'd be grateful for any help. Thanks!

    Custom-1-Mancubuss-TZMap isn't working, somehow the file type changed to General from .dds. I re-archived it so this should work.

      UniMap files are optional for additional functionality, single regular maps are still available. Check the download area again, you missed it.

    Heads up - map markers need another rework for America's Playground patch, can't enter expeditions with it loaded.

      theres something else messing with mine. i got rid of TZ and i can start them now. but tax evasion is hidden behind a pitt one on that map thing. i cant start tax evasion, can start the other ones just fine. figures that tax evasion would be the req one for a daily lol

    FYI - If you're having trouble with the Expedition travel to Atlantic City after the 12-05-23 update, remove this mod. It's the culprit.

      Literally ALL the map mods need updating.  UniMap itself was updated, but most of the third party map pack xml files haven't been updated yet.  Also the "Map Search" mod doesn't work.  I'm sure it'll all get sorted out in the next few weeks.  We're rocking vanilla maps for the time being!

      Plans for new maps have come to a halt, since I lost some of the files for this mod and haven't had time to get back to it.But I have also noticed that there are some changes in some files that seem to indicate that Bethesda has tried or is trying to do something about expedition maps.

    I'm looking for a Warm Sunny map with just the Random Encounters and Treasure Maps. The ones listed here and in your Builder's Pack have incorrect Random Encounter listings and are missing all the  Random Encounter Camp instances. Otherwise, these maps are great.

    It would be all the Dark Blue dots listed here:

      Sorry, I've been wanting to update the builders pack, but I haven't been able to.
