Since you're working with reticles, could you look into how to force the dot crosshair in game instead of having the dynamic cross? As you aim downsight, Bethesda has implemented a dot for almost all weapons now, i would like that dot but in a constant state where it doesnt turn into the cross when i stop aiming my weapons!
The crosshair belongs to a different file (HUDMenu.swf) in which I'm having trouble making it work after editing. When I open the decompiled file in Adobe Animate, it gives me a warning stating that my PC does not have the fonts used in this file and that they will be replaced with another. When I attempt to load the edited file after 'publishing' it back into an sfw the game crashes.
I'm going to try contacting other authors who seem to know either how to get the fonts the file uses or how to get around that.
You can get a permanent dot/cross/circle/etc. with Custom Crosshair or HUDEditor. I use Custom Crosshair (which works fine despite the description stating otherwise) but recommend using HUDEditor instead since it has more features.
I've only just recently gotten into making mods, thank you for promoting my mod! There will me more where that came from once I figure out some obstacles!
