There’s a function in the Pip-Boy labeled 'Stats DPS Report.' When I click it, it says 'Save to file.' Where is the file saved? Can I copy and paste it, or what exactly does this function do?

Hey dtim, back again after a long break away,still this game is nothing without this mod. Just wondering if there is any chance of a collab with Ms Z, her HUD mods are quite easy to edit in that they change without a relog, have font options which id love to be able to use for these panels, and probably a few other handy features.
If i take the SPECIAL area (showstr etc) and make it horizontal, is there a way to bring the numbers closer to their respective title, STR, PER, etc currently its STR*massive gap*number*massive gap*END etc. another eg, i've taken all my currencies and made them into a horz panel and i have no real ruling over how it spreads out. best i could come up with is putting each into their own [group] and giving each its own y= lines, but that's not really ideal for much, the same would need to be done to colour each S P E C I A L string different from one another.
also worth noting these potential bugs, im not sure if there is a supposed to be a showspace cmd, but you've got showline twice in the description, and the line only shows if the background is visible, it seems without too much testing. also eg *40mm Grenade Round,@Ammo,#Nade Round - works, but wont cap the N or R in the custom title. (just seen this isnt a bug, would we be able to get capitals working?) got around this by not bothering with #custom names, names can be set at the start so long as its followed by a *search_for_this section after, eg 40mm Nade Rnd,*40mm Grenade Round,@Ammo (can be shortened to *40mm or less, as nothing else has a name close to that in AMMO)
Is there a way to adjust the color of the rads text? The color is separate from the colors defined in the INI and it is just too dark of a red for the way that I have the background/alpha and all else set up. I know I could suck it up and just change the other colors around that single item, but it doesn't hurt to make sure I'm not overlooking something. XD

Do I have to do something beyond the installation instructions to actually see a stats window? I've copied the files to the Data folder. I've tried with and without SFE in that folder it said to copy into. I've tried with the default ini as is and also tried replacing it with the optional dps specific ini you offer for download. And I added the sResourceArchive2List entry like you said to my Fallout76Custom.ini. But in no scenario in my game is there any new overlay with info.
I'm on Steam. The only other mod I have installed is for texture replacement. And I can successfully make it work or not by modifying its entries in Fallout76Custom.ini which is how I'm proving to myself that's the correct file. Its entries go in sResourceIndexFileList so shouldn't stomp on StatsMeter, and anyway I've tried completely removing the entry for the textures so that StatsMeter's ini settings are the sole contents of the file.
Is there some in-game setting for visuals or accessibility or something which maybe I changed and that prevents StatsMeter from showing anything?
I don’t think you can use both sResourceIndexFileList and sResourceArchive2List at the same time. Just add StatsMeter.ba2 to the sResourceIndexFileList entry (use commas between the different mod files) and see if it works
Hello, i installed the mod but noticed that in dps windows all damage stacks with itself, for an example i play with a plasma gatling,i see litterally every dps'number growing up, but in raid's final boss the "high damage targets" numbers keep growing, i thought it was more of "highest shot damage", but is unclear, or im stupid, dont know ahahahahahah
High damage target is basically for keeping track of damage on bosses. It’s not as much as an issue after how they changed loot on legendaries but to get credit for killing a boss (if you have a daily challenge for instance), you need to do 1000 damage.
I could add a highest damage hit if you would like.
it would be wonderful, for example in a 500shot mag the mod will show me the highest damage from a single shot in these 500, idk if i let understand d.d
