    Game has been updated to version 1.10.50 due to a Creation Club update and so I have updated my mod accordingly. I've also made the two word changes that were suggested by Evilicious.


    9th November 2017

    There was a small update to the game, updating it to version 1.10.40, but no changes are required for my mod to work with it. There is another Creation Club update coming very soon so I shall wait for that before I update my mod again.

    Just wanted to add a note that the new excellent Extended Dialogue Interface mod by reg2k and Neanka (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/27216/) works well with my base mod as is, as well as the DEF_UI compatibility version of my base mod.

    I can foresee that the Extended Dialogue Interface mod will replace the older, clunkier Full Dialogue Interface mod in time.

    After a small delay (was waiting for F4SE to be updated before I did) I have updated my mod for the newest Fallout 4 patch v1.10.26. There were some minor changes, including an error message to do with the Creation Club and item change in Creation Club.

    NOTE: New Fallout 4 patch - v1.10.20 (Creation Club):

    I have updated my mod for the latest update from Bethesda.

    Unfortunately, the Creation Club (CC) as it currently stands places text inside the core game string files that are only related to paid items in the CC. That means that whenever new items are added to the CC the core game string files will probably need to be updated as well.

    Fingers crossed that Bethesda find a better way for the Creation Club to function so that it doesn't need to patch the core game every time it updates the CC.

      English is English, American is, ugh. 

      I can now thankfully have armour instead of arm or, and things will be cancelled instead of canceled.

      Just kidding.

      But seriously though, there are localised languages of the game for pretty much all languages. It's only fair we Brits get a localisation too.

    Hey, heads up. You might get look up failed with these strings, because creation club messed with string again and a couple things will appear as "look up failed" in game. I found a fix is to use xTranslator and "translate" your strings from english to english using these strings as source. Follow the guide on this mod page (at the bottom) and repeat the steps for all your dlc plugin strings as well, to generate new up to date strings. I was going to upload it, but it's possible strings might break in the future, so I am writing this post for others to use to fix for any time strings break.

    Edit: That's not enough, you also have to manually fix every missing string by typing out the original name in each line.

    I just bought the game off Steam yesterday and was missing the English strings for the base game and all DLC's...

    Fortunately someone has uploaded a pack with all strings, so to anyone having this issue, here's how I fixed it:

    I downloaded the pack from here (Strings for Fallout 4 All DLCs);
    Deleted all the files that didn't have "en" in them to get a clean folder by shift+clicking away;
    Renamed all the "en" in the 21 files to "English" (yes, wrye bash kept bashing me about it)
    ...aaand fixed? I think. I hope.

    Any chance of an update please...? I know it's just a bunch of CC items but I'm sure plenty of us would really appreciate it. :)

    Any chance of adding one entry please? Text for 'no paintjob' in the armour paint slot (added for Creation Club). The vanilla text does not require changing, but shows as 'LOOKUP FAILED!' with the mod on. I would do it myself if knew how to do so myself. Cheers for considering~

    With the game being set in the US, if immersion is your goal then Amerian English would technically be more immersive. Great work either way, it sucks we have to localise our own games though.
