I'm going to try and figure out Force Paralyze (freezes enemies like syringer lock joint syringe) and Jedi Mind trick (makes enemies not hostile to you like pax syringe or yellow belly syringe) There might be a way to make weapons deflect projectiles, which would be a good time.
At some point I'll make a whole separate mod that has a bunch of magic spells, which will have way more freedoms compared to this one, since this is trying to be like an established set of abilities. Suggestions for that would be great.
If anyone has resources on how to make animations for fallout 4, I'd love to learn how. I'm an animator myself, and I'd love to make a force push animation, as well as just lots of animations in general.
Okay when you're suggesting things please keep in mind that the entire skeleton of how this mod works is that it has to function like a grenade. How would force choke even work? You throw your hand and ... what? get locked in place while your enemy... floats in place? You know how hard that would be to add to the engine, to make an enemy hover in place? Or force jump... you throw, then.. what? The invisible grenade somehow launches your character? Just... I know everyones spilling over with ideas but at least empathise with the modder and understand what you're asking for.
Choke could be possible if the animation of settlers gardening was used, granted it's not as spectacular as lifting someone up as they gasp for breath, but it's still logical to have someone brought to their knees scrambling for something to break the hold. On a different point is it possible to reverse a grenades physics or make the values negative to mimic the effects of a force crush where everything is dragged or rag-dolled into the point of explosion?
For the record I think I might Have a way you could get out of using the grenade functionality. This mod seems to have created an alternative of getting fucntional "powers" in fallout 4, perhaps they could help you do the same here? Force-aided agility. Lunging at enemies, and extra high jumps. I think there are already mods that allow you to do this (I haven't played with it yet, but I think the chinese stealth suit does this), it would simply be a matter of imitating their code. Also, if you could tie different force powers to different hotkeys, so that you can have more than one at a time? This might be possible if you simply make certain hotkeys activate different grenades.
Perhaps make a new workshop, called the Meditation Station or something of the like, and make it so you need like, Intelligence 10 plus some other perks to make them. These are powers of incredible magnitude, they shouldn't be easy to obtain. :P
Is it possible to do a version of this through the Iron Fist perks? I'm thinking of something that simulates Sole discovering the Force for the first time but not knowing what it is, or having any Jedi or Sith to train them in it. Like for instance, the first Iron Fist perk launches a zeta wave projectile that does minor damage with some knockback; successive perks do more knockback until the final perk, at which point you get a lightning attack like the Tesla rifle. The Automatron version, not the Tesla Cannon.
I've been looking into it myself, but I'm stumped because I can't find the actual unarmed attack used by the player or figure out how to make a perk do a projectile override. I suppose if I could make the perk affect knuckles and override the projectile on those maybe. I don't really think the CK is supposed to be used this way. :P
good mod but why dont you use the telsa rifle fire animations for force lighting woudnt that be more fitting ? it would certani look more powerfull :D but still thx for this mod
I was thinking a force choke probably wouldn't be too difficult to make. What most fail to realize that the blueprint is already there. When you use a knife or sword to slit someone's throat in the game you grab them by the throat and I'm quite sure the victim grabs their throat. So creating a force choke is more possible than you might think. Just a suggestion
Should be as simple as xEdit open the esp find item put damage to 0 if it does not let you do 0 for any reason ( I mean who knows might bug out at 0) swap it to 1 lol doubt you could kill much with 1 base damage.
It would be nice if you could buff their range and travel speed, making them a viable alternative to using a pistol for ranged and roof-based enemies.
As it is, that they still seem to have the travel speed, arc, and range of a grenade has me make the most un-Jedi choice and just ditching the force in favour of a pistol, which is considerably more useful at killing things a lightsaber can't reach.
This mod isn't working for me. I can't see any force-related items when I input help force 4 into the console. I don't know which crafting station to use to make these, but I haven't seen any of them.
