Quick brief introduction:
This is a standalone, redux loosely based off my MCX mod released a few years ago.
You may be wondering, why release another MCX anyways? Well, my original mod was the first firearm mod I ever made. I was self taught through reverse engineering and didn't really know what I was doing, and some people really made sure I knew that. I was overly ambitious trying to make something I thought would scratch everyone's itch. But over time I just started to resent the mod and after a few updates I uninstalled it from my game and never looked back. While I am still proud of the work I did, its just not what I fondly look back on. When I saw the model was updated and had a cool look that was more weathered, I decided to take all the things I have learned from all my mods and combined them into this. Because I love the SIG MCX second to the Colt M4; It's a joy to use IRL and a really neat platform.

All that said, this is a completely different mod from my original, and if you enjoyed how my Barrett M82 was set up, then you should enjoy this.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.

So as I mentioned above, I set this up like my Barrett M82:

- The firearm now has multiple receivers to add progression as you level up, and is about on par with the vanilla assault rifle. I really tried my best to make this balanced to vanilla Fallout. There are also some bullet types you can choose from as well that have some subtle effects that I like to think complement the firearm rather than dictate it. This is a work in progress though and I am open to ideas or changes.

- I set up rail attachments differently too, like how the Barrett is, because it was easier to implement more interesting setups and remove any clipping or user error. Some might like it, some might not, but you can't please everyone. There are several new meshes added as well made by Oh Deer specifically for this mod. He and I also have plans to expand this mod with add-ons that will be hosted here as we make them. So you can decide how big you would like the mod to be and what attachments are added. Drifter is also in the process of making a camo add-on as well.
Aside from the rail attachments, everything else is free-form. I made a See Through Scopes compatible LPVO, you must have STS installed or it WILL NOT work. But I did add a normal version so you can still use the LPVO if you dont want STS....but its really neat lol and I was proud when it worked out.

-New sounds have been added to so the firearm feels more punchy.

-There are also poses included with this mod just like the Barrett; currently there are 15. You have two ways to use them, one through the console by typing: Player.playidle MCX1
The other way is using the screenarcher menu mod.
Make sure you have the MCX equipped but holstered when you use them; The pose will automatically draw the MCX for you.

-Oh I didn't implement level lists. I personally don't like NPC's using my stuff lol but if someone wants to make a level-list mod, go for it.
Also there are no power armor animations for it as of right now. I don't really care for poweramor, but when we add the option for new animations later we'll throw them in then.

So other.
You may be thinking, "Alright Valerie, what MCX of yours do I use?" Well, this one imo; I think its the most complete in terms of balance and game-play. It's also really nice to look at and sounds great, kinda like me.
However.
If you want just a super simple, small, no frills MCX, then the Shrike.
If you want a clean looking MCX with almost no wear and lots of stuff, I guess use my old one.
But both of those are done and won't be receiving anymore updates. This one we plan on growing into some thing more over time with more unique things as they come to mind.

-As casually mentioned above, we also have plans to add a new animations option as well, so if you want to change them up it can be a possibility by downloading them when they're ready.

-"No comments or bug report?" No, I'm and anti-social extrovert. If you need something or have an issue, report it in my discord linked below, in one of my pictures, or probably on my profile I dunno I don't visit it. If you don't want to join discord for reasons beyond comprehension, then try to contact Drifter or Oh Deer somewhere. Though if you're just shy or anti social, you'd fit right in lmao.
BUT for what its worth, I did test this on a my spouses AMD GPU PC with a fresh next gen install and it worked just fine. I play on old gen so it works for both as far as I know.

-"Hey idiot you double foldered(it's a word?) the files and my mod manager is upset!" Whoops, I sure did. I've never used a mod manager so I dunno how upset it really is.

-"Btw, about your M4-" No.

Permissions: If you want to make patches, go for it. If you want to port it somewhere or use it for something else, contact me on discord. If you can't, too shy, hate me, whatever, contact Drifter or Oh Deer and they'll let me know. Alternatively, you can join our server:
