This little mod is great and adds a nice way to patch up those broken walls, roofs and floors, although the auto-snap kinda ruins it even with Place Everywhere, although you could also adjust the position more precisely using the numpad (with Place Everywhere).

Anyone looking for a similar (although much bigger) mod, take a look at cVc Dead Wasteland, it has patchwork wood and metal build items that you can use to patch up walls, roofs, and floors.

It also has many other things fitting the scrappy junky aesthetic of Fallout 4 that I find essential and has become a permanent part of my load order since a very long time.

If anyone is having the same issue as me, un-scrapable boards: go in the creation kit or FO4Edit, remove the following:

    Necro_WoodRoofBoardRamp01
    Necro_WoodRoofBoards02
    Necro_WoodRoofBoards04

This removed the un-scrapable boards for me.

The window boards just float over the windows and only go inside of them are certain angles, but wont go more off to the side then in the actual window, tryin to use them on the houses in sanctuary

Little late replying to this comment, but use Place Everywhere, it's wonderful for issues like what you're describing.

I like this mod a lot, but the auto snapping makes it more annoying to use than it should be. I could save so much time if I could just select the item and slap it into place right where I want it. I use place everywhere, which helps with fine tuning where I want it to be, but generally I have to put the piece off to the side somewhere, then move it over, which becomes tedious after you've done it to numerous windows. I have used another mod in the past that had most of these pieces add to its collect; it didn't have the auto snapping, which made it easier to use. I abandoned that mod though, despite having tons of content on it, because a lot of the stuff in it either didn't work right or conflicted with other mods I am using.

I second that notion. Seriously, please either remove the snapping or make it work with Place Everywhere so when you turn the snapping off the boards stop snapping too.

Huge thread necro here, but I thought it would be important to point out for later readers that Place Anywhere lets you toggle snapping off, at will.F1, by default.

Turning off snapping works on MOST items but for some reason *this mod in particular* is stubborn about it. Neither surface nor object snapping affects it.

Know what else these boards are good for? Repairing the boardwalk at Longfellow's Cabin.

"Under the boardwalk, down by the sea . . . "

    Endorsed.

Add this line to your Fallout4Custom.ini or your Fallout4Prefs.ini:

      [Archive]
      bInvalidateOlderFiles=1

      This should fix it.
