About this mod
This adds a quite nice settlement area in one of the very hidden areas of the Hunter's Abyss Worldspace
21 beds, lots of food, plenty of other resources. Immersive.
Called Barrington or Burlington Beach at different references in The Abyss, do not let that confuse you, its the same location.
MINIMAL HARD REQUIREMENTS
- Requirements
- Permissions and credits
But if you find a subway station and go to the other side and follow some corridors you will emerge in a rad free green outside area, not inside the abyss.
But its mostly devoid of resources and completly isolated from any traders.
So to set the settlement up for long term success w/o making it OP and without losing the post-apoc poverty vibe.
Even so I added these scrappable resources:
-The small woods on East and West sides of this patch of land, I tripled in size, to give you plenty of wood scrap.
-Further down on the left after you enter this space from the subway, I put up a lot of concrete building materials for you to scrap.
Many contain steel as well.
-Added some tanks to scrap for the steel and a couple of APCs too.
-Put up a large field with Corn, Tato, Melons and Razorgrain.
-There is a herd of half dozen Brahmin for your fertilizer needs. I put their feedthroughs so they do not bother you in your houses. But if you dont want them you can always not check that import toggle in the TSB menu during import.
-Put down 5 Covenant-style houses immersivly furnished, one of them the Mayors house and some for the general populace. 21 beds total.
Unlike my usual habit, I built the beds without Vilance plug-in to combat Mod bloat.
-Every residence has plenty of scrappable towels and bedsheets added (scrappable for cloth if needed)
-There is a small but beautiful Rose garden I put in the middle for your female NPCs to enjoy.
-I built a Fusion generator for you but did not connect anything and stuck with non electrical light sources for simplicity and immersion (plus I dont like to do wiring). There is a beacon right next to it but they are not wired. Easy for you to do.
- A small mall with the major shops at high level is included.
-I included a warehouse with , among other goodies, two T51s. Why? because if the PC was not around and if this was real, this is what it would take for NPC level "persons" to get a message to the commonwealth, or to scavenge in the Abyss.
Or even to just to walk to the airport or SM camp for trading. I believe Two Power Armored guys are needed to run the Abyss, not just one, since they dont have the demi-god abilities of the PC.
Also, T51s can be repaired with just a bit of steel, of which I included a decent supply of scrappable assests in the TSB.
Now all it needs is your settlers. :D
