    Highly impressed with your creation.

    But, I have some questions.

I am 100% screen-archer. No game play. I place every thing and spawn in any NPCs I need and place and pose.

I have a game/build I have been using for years. I do NOT advance the time. It has been on the same day for almost a year.

I have not been to Spectacle island yet, but am interested in using your creation.

I have read about using the patterns, but have never tried one.

How dangerous to my existing game would you say it is? I would make a hard save of course before trying it out. And I use MO2.

Second question I guess would be: How editable is this build? I tend to do a LOT of customization for my story lines.

Thanks zewtastic. I don't advance the time much either. When beginning a new playthrough I use a bat file that among other things slows time to 1.

Clipboard Resurrection is a great mod that does the same as Transfer Settlements except it's much quicker and so much more versatile.

Not only can you create your own prefabs, but combined with Place Everywhere you can copy almost any piece in the game from pyramids to whole buildings. Just by adding a workshop, then tapping the 'Insert' key to toggle for extra objects. You're also able to save any of your builds or pieces of your builds for use later, even in other saves. A few examples in this build are the water pump on the south end I pulled from Vault 88. The Yangtzee submarine is another example. I added a workshop nearby, then just copied everything into Clipboard. Now I can use it anywhere.

I can show you how to add a workshop anywhere if you'd like. It only takes a few console commands. :)

Not dangerous at all. You of course wouldn't want to delete it or any mod mid playthrough. That would cause errors that would eventually make your game unplayable.

It's totally editable if using Place Everywhere. You would just need to tap the 'Insert' key for extra objects for some pieces like the submarine, water pump (as mentioned above), or some rocks. I stopped using scrap mods for this reason because with Place Everywhere they're not needed. :)

      That all sounds good.
As I mentioned I am 100% doing posing, set building and screenshotting for story line creations.

I don't stop or slow time down. I control it.
Every time I start up I have batch files I use for some console commands, and I set the time I need and never let it progress past midnight.
I don't fast-travel, I walk and move the time around for what I need.

I have done a hard-save, gone on an excursion to another location for part of a plot, travelled, done the story bit at the new location, then load the hard-save back in.

Technically I could do the same with your build and others that use Clipboard. (I am avoiding Transfer Settlement Blueprints.)

BUT, I still have to add in the mods your build requires, correct? There is no getting past that, right?

AND I would love to see those Workshop commands. I know there is some mod that lets you place a workshop, but if I can do it with console commands that is even better.

Additionally I am curious how much I can edit on your build? Clean up and change. I use SAM extensively. (Screen Archer menu)

Here is a typical panel of my story line.

Personally, I don't care much for Transfer Settlements. It was great when it first came out for saving your builds, but Clipboard Resurrection is so much more versatile. I only add blueprints now because some people still use them.

Yes, you still need to add the mods. This isn't an .esp that includes everything.

I usually try to build in settlements for several reasons. First of all, I use Workshop Plus that only lets you copy pieces in a settlement and lets you fly while in build mode. Second, I also use Build High - Expanded Settlements 5.0 that offers 200+ floors and expanded boundaries in vanilla settlements (great for any arial builds like skyscrapers/aircraft/spacecraft etc...).

So, for building anywhere else or just copying parts with Clipboard Resurrection, I'll just add a workshop through the console like this.

      ---------------

The simplest way to build anywhere is Workshop Anywhere. And actually this is only a series of console commands. I've modified the original mod to work a bit better. This doesn't create a settlement, but a build area that allows you to build anything or copy most things with Clipboard Resurrection. Myself, I just created two batch files for this and if I find a good place that doesn't have a workshop, this works.

I named the files 'WS' and 'WS2'. The first one adds the workbench and the second one levels it and makes it work.

      WS

      player.placeatme c1aeb 1

      WS2

      setangle x 0
      setangle y 0
      setangle z 0

      showvars

      callfunction "workshopscript.setownedbyplayer" 1

Just copy the commands and paste them into Notepad as two new files. Then save the files to your Fallout Game folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4).

In game just enter the console and type bat ws, enter. Then exit the console, then enter the console again. Click on the new workshop and it will show its ID. Then hit the up arrow once and it will bring up your last command, type '2' (without the quotes). Hit enter and you're done. For building you'll need to add materials or just use TGM (toggle god mode).

      ---------------

You're free to edit whatever you'd like. Just credit me for the original build. Also, keep in mind some pieces you'll need to press the 'Insert' key for extra objects. Be careful with the larger pieces (like mountains), because if they're too big to pick up in workshop mode they will crash your game. Use Place Everywhere to move (if needed) by highlighting them and pressing 'F7' to lock them. Then you can move them without crashing. :)

Thanks, I understand what you've explained.
My changes would be small, not large.
I'm more about adding/changing the details of the environment.

I have seen your builds/mods in the past and been wanting to incorporate them. I use a few of Geekrages as well. Amazing stuff.

Looks really good! Tried importing it my self using the transfer settlements and the settings from your description but it only mostly worked. meaning the objects were all there but the alot of the railings weren't placed right and some walls were also misplaced like near the washroom at the bottom. Would really love to use this though.

Thanks for your comment. That's one of the problems with Transfer Settlements when importing to Spectacle. If you just fast traveled to Spectacle and started the import I would expect this to happen. I added a picture that designated where would be the best place to stand if using Transfer Settlements. It's at the end of the rest.

Personally, I would recommend using Clipboard Resurrection because then you can't make that mistake if you select "Move To Pattern Source Location" in the action menu first (and it is so much quicker). :)

Thanks for the reply, I actually got it to work *eventually* by brute force of just trying again and standing on that one spot on the rock after 3 crashes and the same as above happening. It finally looking right, just one mine thing I was able to fix on my own was the 6 floor elevator was tilted for some reason. I could simply move that one myself. At least everything else appears to be present.
