Upon extensive testing of this mod, I stumbled upon a bug. Its no wonder that editing Curie's appearance is way troublesome compared to editing other NPCs. (Curie doesn't have a single ID compared to other companions, she has 3 IDs if I'm not mistaken: Miss Nanny, Synth, and Companion) If you have been editing or have edited Curie through SLM, chances are, the mod will likely not work. Don't worry, this is fixable. My solutions to these bugs: - Invisible Curie fix 1. Disable and Enable Curie through console command. (If this doesn't work, continue to step 2) 2. Use ShowLooksMenu on Curie then change her hairstyle to any. 3. After making Curie appear, remove all the items you gave her, open up console, click on Curie, then type "recycleactor" (WARNING: "recycleactor" would reset everything about the NPC, Curie would still follow you, however her affinity would be back to zero.) 4. Save the game, then reload.
- Curie not changing appearance 1. Use ShowLooksMenu on Curie then change her hairstyle to any. 2. Remove all the items you gave her, open up console, click on Curie, then type "recycleactor". 3. Save the game, then reload.
- I uninstalled the mod but Curie still looks the same 1. Its because the appearance of Curie is already been overridden in that save by the mod. To revert Curie's appearance, FaceRipper can reset an actor's appearance back to default.
IF problem 1 & 2 aren't fixed with the steps I provided, use FaceRipper. Reset Curie's looks back to default, then make sure you have my mod enabled in your mod manager.
Don't worry about using recycleactor on Curie, you can always gain her affinity back through commands or manually just by being a nice person.
These problems aren't my fault or my mod's fault, that's the way Curie was coded, unfortunately. I have no idea for a permanent fix regarding the known bugs as many faced the same problem with Curie. Thanks, Bethesda.
Looks cute & fitting for a Curie - and proof we don't need 50 body/hair/face mods to produce. She also looks close-ish to the Curie I'm still using (which was called "Unique Curie" - a pic here but sadly that mod is now gone when the author took all their mods off Nexus). Since then, I sometimes get asked for my copy (which I refuse as I respect the author's wishes) but I can now link your mod as a close alternative.
However, I did a test download and though Nexus says the file is safe my Firefox browser (on Windows 10) says it isn't. Not sure why that is.

Hmm, that's a weird one. I tested both on NMM (Yes, I still use the good ol' Nexus Mod Manager), and downloading manually on-site, nothing seems to pop-up like yours. Do you, by any chance, use any anti-virus other than the Windows Defender? If so, it could be that.
That's what's weird, I'm just using Firefox latest (133.0.3, 64-bit) on Windows 10 22H2 (OS Build 19045.5247 update 10 Dec 2024) and my only AV is Windows Defender. When I download (manually, I don't use a manager) it immediately screams at me that this file contains a virus and recommends removal. The only other thing I was wondering was whether your upload was made using winrar as that can cause many false-positive issues. I had the same result on both of my PCs (gaming rig and netbook).
Huh - well I don't trust MS Edge and even for Firefox I use extra security blockers (but with exceptions to allow sites like Nexus etc). However, I've just tried another download a few hours later and my game rig now seems totally happy with it. I've no idea why - I do download a lot from Nexus and this was an extremely rare event (hence my raising it) and it's just as odd it's now ok with same file.
I just realized that I named the mod "Classy" while Curie has a scar on her left brow making her a "battle-scarred" Curie. I'll make an optional file without the scar to fit the name, you can still opt for the scarred one.
