Why
There are a few mods on nexus that replace the ugly vanilla SMG, however I believe there are people who want to keep the vanilla style of the weapons in their game without adding new models and textures, while using nice reanimations and expanding additions. I am this kind of person. That's why I made this patch.
How
It was made by applying Antistar's animations for stick magazine from his Thompson SMG Replacer to stick magazine from Attachment Pack. Check it out if you haven't yet btw - really good if you want to make your smg more real-like. But if you want keep things vanilla-like, stick with mine.
What it does
- As I mentioned in the review, this patch makes Wardaddy's right-handed reanimation of the vanilla SMG work correctly with DegenerateDak's Attachment Pack stick magazines.
- I also added Tactical Reload compatibility so stick magazines will reload with the correct partial animation.
Compatibility
- Should be compatible with everything, what is compatible with The Attachment Pack, as long as it uses vanilla receiver models or ones from The Attachment Pack
- Can conflict with mods that add new receivers with their own vanilla-style (left handed) models, those will require patch.
- Note, that sometimes mod authors can use vanilla models for their receivers - for example, when their receivers just change calibers or make stats higher. If they do so, my patch most likely will be compatible. So don’t be afraid to use my patch with different mods - just tell me if you see incompatibilities and let me know, I will make patch if it’s possible.
