Just asking before I download it: Is there a way to make the mats invisible? I think it looks kinda off if there is just some random "welcome" mat behind a bar counter. maybe you could make a version that is similar to what this mod does since you are basically just adding a marker: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/13343
I realize that your mod has a specific purpose and what I am about to say may seem a little misplaced. I don't use the armor or weapons shops (or the scavenging station) because they lack the settlement satisfaction boost ability. It never made sense to me. They are working, not sitting around doing nothing but gainfully employed. This should make them happy but it doesn't so I have no need of them. I would be very pleased if one of these "shop mods" actually addressed this and gave the same benefits currently enjoyed by the bar, the clinic and the other two stands.
Hello! First of all, thanks for this mod. I've been using it for some time now and it gives me some great additional flexibility when it comes to setting up shops. I haven't had any issues with assigning settlers or anything, no more than the bugs already in the vanilla game.
There's just one thing, more weird than anything else - I use this mod mainly for setting up a bar in my settlements. It seems to create an additional action thingy on the vendor's spot - namely, NPC Stand & Drink Coffee. So, I end up with my bartender there looking all dapper in a tuxedo and serving up the good stuff, with a bunch of other people trying to stand on his or her feet while they chug their mugs.
With Scrap Everything I'm able to locate the coffee point and delete it, but the settlers still seem to like hanging around behind the bar. Since said bar is often jammed in to a corner somewhere, it gets more than a little crowded back there. On Spectacle Island I've given them a sentry bot for mobile defence, and he usually winds up on the roof as he wants to loiter behind the bar but is too damn big to fit inside the house.
I'm thinking this is all due to flaky settler navigation as much as anything else. The majority of them do sit at the bar like good little peons, and it doesn't seem to affect other shops. Maybe something to do with them congregating in a well-lit spot after working hours, to get their relax on.
Anyway, the mod is awesome and I'm not here howling for it to be fixed or anything. Just making an observation, mainly because I like the thing so much.
Yeah, I've noticed that too. I'm not a great developer by any means, and there's probably a way to fix some of this - just don't know where to look. I'm hoping someone who knows more what they're doing might pick up on this and provide some pointers, or help me improve it.
Kind of unrelated but question. is it possible for you to port this to the consoles? we still have to deal with the annoying red when building and I'm tired of shops just laying around. This would help a tun and I know bla bla just get it on pc, I bought a new pc for the game and sadly I got the specs a tad to low so I cant run the game at all so I'm stuck with the console version. And i'm sure I'm not the only console player who would like to have this, because like I said we have place in red mod. I mean if you cant/wont port it over thats fine, will just have to keep using the rug glitch then. but either way thought i'd ask
