I'd like to use this, but NPCs use items then sends you down a mod spiral until you need to use Robco Patcher and when I use that, on game start it refuses to use it. In the end I just had to get rid of robco patcher and all the other stuff. Almost ruined my game if I hadn't made a safe save to go back to. I'm scared of touching Mods that sends me down mod spirals now. How did you get Robco patcher working in VR? I'm on Survival btw.
Not sure what you mean by Mod Spiral, but all the required mods should be listed on the main page. Maybe i didn't list them clearly enough. Anyway, Robco Patcher won't currently work with Fallout VR, don't install it. For VR we want to use patches from the RobCo to SPID Collection.
Sorry for my late response. Didn't realise anyone had replied. Mod spiral means, you pick the main mod then find you need a mod to go with that then when you go to get that mod, that mod needs another mod, to go with that, on and on like a spiralling down a whirlpool.
Anyway, thankyou. I will check that list you quoted.
Appears to work. I didn't pay too much attention to whether they used items before, but they are definitely healing themselves now. Only did a couple minutes of testing though so I figure I'll see them using other stuff later. This did require a list of mods, but only one esp. baka is required for baka vr, baka vr required for SPID VR (didn't need original SPID), NPCs UI, SPID VR and Robco to SPID required for this mod, and Jet Script because I guess if the NPCs use items it dehydrates you? I just deleted the files in the original mods and replaced with VR version files for those files. Didn't have an update VR address library so got baka dll error message at first, but just updated the library and it started right up.
List: version checker baka framework baka framework VR (required by Spell Perk Item Distributor VR) NPCs use items NPCs use items VR Jet Script Bugfix (required by NPCs use items) Spell Perk Item Distributor VR RobCo to SPID and Plugin Collection - NPCs Use Items
Edit: Found out if you try to use console while this mod and/or the ones connected to it are enabled (didn't try to determine which one since you need all) you get the VR library error message, so you have to disable all these connected mods first before using console, than re-enable.

For the full Chemfluence experience this is basically the whole handful of mods you'll need:
- NPCs Use Items
- Chemfluence
- RobCo Spid Patcher Grab both SPID files in downloads
- Spell Perk Item Distributor VR
- NPCs Use Items - VR Patch
- Chemfluence - VR Patch
and probably Fo4VersionCheckPatcher, if you don't already have it installed
Looks like a lot but it'll only eat 2 plugin slots :)
Anyway, thankyou. I will check that list you quoted.
