Fairly simple mod that replaces Ballistic Weave with a full upgrade tree.

For a long time now it has bugged me that Ballistic Weaves are just a straight up armor upgrade with no downsides and no no alternate option in that slot.
Also bugged me that all you can do with most non layered armor is add a Ballistic Weave to it.

So I changed that.

Ballistic Weaves are now replaced with a full suite of modifications in 5 different slots. These slots will be added naturally as you install a mod in each slot, so once you install a mod in slot 1, you'll unlock slot 2 and so on.

I've also set up what mods are in what slots to allow you to specialize the outfits for different uses, like a super light stealth suit at the cost of having little armor, or a super protective suit at the cost of high weight.

Slots and their mods are as follows:

Mod 1:
Plate Inserts: +30 Ballistic armor, +1 Weight

Grounded Weave: +30 Energy armor, +1 Weight

Lighter Build: -25% Weight, +5 AP

Additional Pockets: +10 Carry Weight,  +1 Weight

Limb Braces: -20% incoming Limb damage, +1 Weight

Dual Protection: +15 Ballistic and Energy armor, +1 Weight

Mod 2:
Lead Lining: +50 Rad Resist, +1 Weight

Asbestos Lining: +10 Fire Resist, immunity to being set on fire, +1 Weight

Treated Lining: +20 Poison Resist, +1 Weight

Insulated Lining: +20 Cryo Resist, +1 Weight

Stealth Lining: +10% Stealth in dark areas,  +0.5 Weight

Reinforced Lining: +10 Ballistic and Energy armor, +1.5 Weight

Mod 3:
Muffled Soles: 10% less movement noise, +0.25 Weight

Sleek Fitting: +10% movement speed while sneaking, +0.25 Weight

Cushioned Boots: -25% Fall Damage, +0.25 Weight

Custom Fitting: -10% Sprinting AP cost, +0.25 Weight

Sturdy Boots: +5 Ballistic and Energy armor, +0.5 Weight

Mod 4:
Aerodynamic Sleeves: -10% Power Attack AP cost, +0.25 Weight

Knuckle Dusters: +10 Unarmed Damage, +0.25 Weight

Weighted Gloves: Unarmed/Melee attacks ignore 10% of armor, +0.25 Weight

Textured Gloves: Increased Scope stability, +0.25 Weight

Sturdy Gloves: +5 Ballistic and Energy armor, +0.5 Weight

Mod 5:
Heavy Armor: +50 Ballistic and Energy armor, +5 Weight

Hazard Gear: +200 Rad Resist, +30 Cryo/Fire/Poison Resist, +5 Weight

Exoskeleton: +50 Carry Weight, Reduces incoming Stagger, +5 Weight

Lightweight Armor: +25 Ballistic and Energy armor, +2.5 Weight


Since this mod depends on the outfit being Ballistic Weave capable, I highly recommend using this mod alongside Equipment and Crafting Overhaul and RobCo Patcher, which will allow you to easily enable Ballitstic Weave on any outfit.



Known Issues:
Yes, you can install all these mods in headwear and layered armor pieces. This is a downside of making the mod as compatible as possible.
