this is a great mod tbh. adds a nice little bit of customization for armor and removes the eventual pigeon holed feeling of working towards weave. eco definitely gets more useful with this mod so you can make just about any piece of equipment have a specialized use. you dont have to rely entirely on using a specific piece of gear or legendary effect on it. you can also craft your own little gear set.
i wish there was something like this in a larger sense like legendary effects that you can build upon. select unique effects that are incremental as you unlock the next slot on a tree of sorts. uses a lot of resources or is very expensive, and can be used on gear and weapons alike.
I was heavily inspired with how Stalker: Call of Pripyat handles upgrades by having them branch off and only letting you pick one from each branch. Makes things a lot more interesting than only having the option to increase armor.
And I think I might be able to make something similar for weapons, but I'll have to do some testing to make sure it works right.
