@SoleVaultBoy - Would there be an easy fix to get these two mods to be compatible? Or would it be long and tedious? Might look into making a patch if it is not too complicated!
I haven't really looked into it, though I probably need to either replace new line chars with spaces or just trim the suggestion if it becomes too long.
that would be an acceptable thing to do if NG wasnt the final version of the game, every player from now and forever are going to be on NG though. people arent going to downgrade their game immediately after buying it lol
Most people are currently downgrading anyways, because it's the most compatible option. With the game's current state, Bethesda is somewhat forced to put a update out soon, which will create another version split, just like with Skyrim. I recommend using the Simple Fallout 4 Downgrader to circumvent this.
with the unofficial patch team only supporting next gen, and stating they will never support old gen, and more moving towards that direction, I am not entirely sure about that.
UFO4P is entirely compatible with a downgraded game, if you used the Simple Fallout 4 Downgrader. So there's basically no reason to not downgrade currently.
UFO4P supports the GOG version of the game, at least it does as of today.
I have no idea what the future plans of their team are, but it would be unfair to ban GOG players from future updates of the UFO4P (or any other community mods) just because of despicable business practices by Bethesda.
I myself am on Steam by the way (downgraded to pre-NG).
If you are old-gen make sure you back up 2.1.5 of UFO4P. If it's like any other update - if GOG ever updates to NG that link to 2.1.5 on UFO4P page will come down in nanoseconds. :D
checking plugin R:\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\F4SE\Plugins\\ConsoleAutocomplete.dllplugin R:\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\F4SE\Plugins\\ConsoleAutocomplete.dll (00000000 <NULL> 00000000) reported as incompatible during query
Which version of F4SE is needed for this plug-in to work?
Edit: Hmm, the plug-in works normally and completes commands in the game console even though the F4SE and MO2 log reports it as incompatible. I don't know what this is about?
Edit2: It fixed itself after restarting the game and no longer reports the plugin incompatible. Normally magic. xD
Only Old Gen is supported, which you seem to have already installed. Be sure that you have the All-In-One version of Address Library and have properly downgraded your game. Check The Midnight Ride guide for proper installation and downgrade instructions.
