These two mods are in conflict, as far as I can see, unfortunately they are reworking the same textures. By the way, if you click on the FILES section and there on "Preview file contents", you can see what textures are involved.
Everything is a matter of taste. The same goes for graphics, some like this, some like that. You have to try what is better for you. You also have to take into account lighting, ENB, Reshade, different weather mods that create different lighting. You just have to try it. Look at the pictures and judge for yourself.
This is a fantastic mod, but I have noticed some minor issues with blood splatter when using Body Talk bodies, would you be willing to make a compatibility patch? I would show pictures, but I'm not sure of nexus' policy on that; also, do you plan on making new textures for other type of gore, such as bruises and blood puddles?
Thanks! Blood splatters - I didn't do anything with it. My textures have nothing to do with flowing, splattering blood. If you look in the Preview file contents section, you can see what I changed. The names of the textures say it all. My only textures that change part of the blood system are from ZP's Vanilla Water Liquid Scum, and even that shouldn't be a problem if you don't have a problem with the vanilla blood system.
New texture types - I haven't thought about that yet. For the blood, we have Enhanced Blood Textures, and I highly doubt I can do better than that. Bruises on the body - for the face there is already a mod Real Bruises - Facial Damage Fixes and for the body, getting bruises during the game would require quite a lot of programming knowledge, which I do not have, so nothing will come of it.
Jesus I keep miscommunicating, what I meant to say was, the blood decals on bodies seem to glitch out around the waist when using mods like CBBE and BodyTalk, particularly with dismembered corpses, sorry for the confusion, and thank you for the recommendations.
That's okay, things like that happen when we communicate through written words. You don't have such a problem with vanilla gore? Because as I already wrote, I didn't change anything on the system, only on the textures, and technically these are vanilla textures, I just threw a little black magic on it. And what I didn't mention, I don't use mods like CBBE or other similar mods. Sorry, but I can't help you with this. Maybe if you throw in some pictures, I'll download it and then delete it right away. Or send it directly to me in a message. I'm curious about the problem.
Thanks for the picture. Funny how it looks different under different lighting. Yours looks a little more brutal, more raw. Are you not using Enhanced Blood Textures?
I was thinking more about the lighting in the game. I don't use ENB or Reshade, I only use Dark Commonwealth and probably will never use anything else. That's why I wanted pictures from users, because I'm curious how the mod looks under different lighting. Thanks for the tip on the mod, I'll give it a try.
It will probably be because you have a new FO4 version. I'm still using the old 1.10.163 and I'm not willing to upgrade to an unstable mess. I shot 10 raiders to pieces and nothing happened. Until Bethesda fixes what they broke, I'm sticking with the old version. When I installed some mod with the new ba2 format I also get crashes. If you want ba2 format, you will have to do it yourself. If I can advise, it's good to learn these things, you never know when it will come in handy.
There is a reason to cling to Pre-NG - if you have any mods that edit NPC records whatsoever, stuttering is introduced to the game. There are ways to fix this, such as X-Cell, but that requires patches for literally any mod that makes a custom NPC face ever. With several mods still having not updated (or outright refusing to), the only reason to use NG at all is to obtain the new Creation Club DLCs, but you can just downgrade and keep those anyways.
As for the BA2 Issue, as far as I'm aware, Pre-NG BA2s should work perfectly fine on NG - I haven't tested this for myself, obviously, but I've had nobody report problems with this on any of my own mods, most of which are packaged with Pre-NG BA2s. Are you sure that this mod is what's causing the crash? Have you ran your Buffout 4 Crash Log through Classic to find the root cause?
AnomNum I personally try all my mods, even if I sometimes miss something, people will point me out and I'll fix it, but I would notice a crash. I know for sure that NG ba2 will cause a crash in OG, I tried it, but I don't know how OG ba2 works in NG. So far, 12 people have downloaded the ba2 variant, we'll see if anyone else gets in touch. Just now a friend who has a lot of OG ba2 mods on NG confirmed to me that he doesn't have a problem. One learns something every day.
Holy hell is that why I'm having this persistent stutter!? I still have an old install on a different machine but decided to give the ng version a try on a much BETTER rig, and it's stuttering like I'm on a potato haha
Spinkterton Stutters are due to the Next Gen Update, everyone has it, no matter the machine. Bethesda hasn't fixed it even now. PC version sucks, console version is better.
as a dude who has maxed out bloody mess and uses a ripper (or sum chainsaw mod) i find the mutilated bodies weird, cant identify every organ im chopping like idk which bones are the ribs or which organ is the heart or intestines but with this... yeah it fixes that now i can go rampaging the commonwealth as a crazy bastard who mutilate bodies without getting confused which is which in the victim's body
I knew you guys were sick bastards. You really focus on two things, gore and naked women (sarcasm) 🤣 Could you upload at least a few pictures of how it looks in your game? Thanx.

I just want to see how it looks in your games - research purposes.
Thanx.

No reason to cling to pre-NG, everything but Robco is updated now, but you do you.

It is uploaded.

Even though I'm not actively playing fo4 ATM (busy with starfield) this will be going in my next load order
Great work
