Ok, v1.01a is up - I've fixed the names, adjusted the recipes so that bigger plots take more compost, and put new transfoms on the compost and mulch. I worked on the collisions a bit, it's easier to place the small ones, but the long ones are still WAY too huge to put in most places. If you look at the Croup Manor picture I've uploaded, you can see how much farming you can do on a single plot of the smaller farmland - that one is the "Small 2 Row", and the one at Hangman's is the "Long 1 Row" farmland.
Next is fixing the build icons for the plots (so they have icons), and further tweaking of the collisions. I've worked on the collisions some already, I'm sorta feeling my way around how the IgnoreSimpleIntersections setting (and a few others) work.
Amusingly, I've discovered that there's clipping only on one side of the mesh - from underneath you can walk right through it, but from the top it's solid as any other piece of ground.
Hello, I uploaded the simplified Chinese translation version, but the original file cannot be specified, so there is no way to add the original file. I have stated the source.can check my homepage,Thank you for your work.
Can someone update this.. it's useless with NX Pro Farming Hidden as you need the compost to use the plots... Why not just use Fertilizer instead of Compost?
Ack, I didn't know that NX Pro was hidden now - I've still got it in my NMM so never needed to download it again.
I'll see if I can't do an update on the mod - I can also probably make a dummy copy of NX Pro so that the compost still works while the NXPro mod gets updated.
it's so much better than the homemaker one i love it. I've been trying to build an underground bunker, and making the ground is almost impossible. Had to get a "place in red" mod just for that. Still those plots are s#*!, it's an offroad circuit more than farmland. SO glad i found yours. I was wondering if it would be possible to make them snap to each-other, that would make it much easier to build. Oh and would it be possible to get x10 compost recipe in the chemistry station? It would make building all the compost so much faster. Thank you for the great mod
I'll see about adding the 10x compost recipe - that's a good idea :-)
I've got a friend that put snapping on a couple of the plots for me - I'll see about uploading a new version of the mod with that new recipe and the new meshes hopefully soon.
Most likely you're looking at the compost created by Spring Cleaning or NX Farming - my compost is a separate recipe that you have to make in the chemistry lab.
Homemaker added dirt plots like this a while back, but it seemed settlers didn't want to walk on them for me, leaving them standing around the edge or just ignoring their farming tasks completely.
Do the settlers walk on them and farm like they normally would?
You can also edit their sizes in nifskope using the transform settings if you want to make them smaller.
Settlers don't seem to want to walk on them, but they do farm them properly from the edges (you can see a settler working one of them in my Croup Manor screenshot). I suspect there's no navmesh that will let them climb up the edges, but in theory that's fixable in NifSkope.

Thanks for making it.
If anyone is interested - I've made a Settlement Menu Manager patch for this mod so that it has its own menu in the workshop.
