💬 INTRODUCTION
This mod sets the volume tag to all laser weapons to Quiet (not Silent) and lowers the volume a little bit of the lasers so it's not weird if you're sneaking around with this loud ass Laser Musket that enemies can't hear. If you like the changes made here, check out the full mod this is broken off from here. It covers all energy weapons and adds Burst fire, continuous beams, tri-beam lasers and more!
⚙️ WHAT THIS MOD DOES
NPC SETTING
All weapons have a setting to tell NPCs how loud the gun is. By default, all ballistics and energy weapons are set to Loud. Below Loud are, Normal, Quiet, and Silent. This mod sets Laser weapons to quiet, since lasers don't make noise. I didn't set it to silent, bc the guns themselves do make noise and when lasers hit something, that could make noise.
So this isn't going to silence your laser weapons but it does make sneaking with a laser gun or sniping with a laser musket a much better experience, as enemies may still hear the shot if in range, but may have a harder time figuring out where it came from.
AUDIO
The volume of all lasers has been lowered slightly so it doen't feel odd that no one can hear this loud ass laser musket in the next room. The volume is still loud enough to feel responsive. (It's not that much quieter, I know you need the feedback lol)
