Charlie Station lies dormant and forgotten to everyone except the curious wildlife that happen upon it. It sits off the beaten path in the far southern edges of the Commonwealth just waiting to be rediscovered.

Discover Listening Station Charlie-1, better known as simply Charlie Station. Originally a vertibird refueling station, it was converted into a signals intelligence listening post in the early-2260's by the order of President John Henry Eden to gather intelligence on - what was then - a newly discovered and highly advanced threat known as the Institute. The station remained operational, studying Institute technology and spying on their communications, until the Enclave's humiliating defeat in 2277 whereafter it was mothballed by the remaining Enclave leadership as they regrouped and consolidated their surviving forces elsewhere. Today, Charlie Station lies dormant and forgotten to everyone except the curious wildlife that happen upon it. It sits off the beaten path in the far southern edges of the Commonwealth just waiting to be rediscovered.
This player home is a project that had been on my back burner for quite some time. After being shelved numerous times and going through dozens of iterations and rebuilds, I am excited (and relieved) to finally release it. Naturally, the bunker has been designed with Enclave players in mind and should pair especially well with mods such as America Rising 2. Although this is nominally an Enclave player home, you don't have to be playing as a member of the Enclave to enjoy it. With multiple faction decor options, you can modify the bunker to represent any of the main factions in Fallout 4, and even display decorations to celebrate the holidays. Regardless of what kind of player you are, I hope that you will make yourself at home in Charlie Station.
Features
- A secure and feature rich hi-tech underground home for the Sole Survivor and their companions. - A lore friendly backstory about the station and its purpose in the Commonwealth. - Limited interior workshop functionality. See the section below for details. - Faction decoration options, claim the bunker in the name of the Enclave, BoS, Institute, Minutemen, or Railroad. - Holiday decoration options to celebrate Christmas, Halloween, or Independence Day. - A unique entrance, enter and exit the bunker via a vertibird elevator. - Custom Auto-Sort system. - Custom workbenches. - Plenty of storage and display areas. - Toggle mannequin genders. - Static clutter that won't get knocked around. - Water purifier, turn your dirty waters into clean waters with the press of a button. - Fusion Core recharger, instantly recharge any fusion cores in your inventory. - A fully functional Auto-doc to heal your injuries, rads, and even implant Kellogg's cybernetics into yourself. - Scripted decontamination chamber to cleanse your rads every time you get back home. - Hydroponic gardens to harvest food from. All of the plants replenish after 48 hours. - Daily ration system that keeps you well supplied for your adventures. Dispense rations of ammo, chems, or food up to three times a day. - Custom wall radios, tune any of them individually to play Diamond City Radio, Classical Radio, or Radio Freedom. - Displays that you can click on to learn about various things around the bunker. - TatoTeleporter™. T-A-T-O. Need I say more?
Known Issues / Limitations
- Due to the bunker's unusual entrance, and the CK simply refusing to let me Navmesh over the central platform, NPCs cannot find their way to the interior on their own. If you want your companions to live inside the bunker with you, you will need to have them follow you into the interior first, and then dismiss them while they are inside. It's not ideal, but I was not able to find a way around this. I may take another crack fixing it later down the road, but for now I feel that it's tolerable.
Requirements
Requires all the official DLC expansions for Fallout 4. This requirement will not be removed, please do not ask.
Credits
- Thunderclan117 for helping write one of the terminal entries. - Pra for the awesome custom terminal resources. (1) (2) - Elianora for her bobble head display shelf resource. - Strider5 for the classic vertibird resources. - KalibKadafi for graciously allowing me to use his seriously impressive Remnants Bunker assets, without which this mod would simply not have been possible. - My wonderful wife and my discord community for their ideas, feedback, and encouragement to continue working on this. Without them, this probably would have been shelved forever.
