Does this affect all Red Rocket stations or just the one near Sanctuary? If it's only the one in Sanctuary it would be great if you considered doing the same with the Atom Cats and Nahant stations, there are 2 settlement mods that I use where said stations allow building there, it would be great if they were also affected by this edition, the mods I mention are the following:
Simplest answer, download the BA2 main file. Then be sure to have in proper order in the 'Plugins' tab for Vortex.
Now the longer answer, but hopefully not too long: BA2 files are Bethesda Archive files. Basically Bethesda's own type of zip file for their games to store assets more efficiently. When the game loads, it will load all the normal game BA2 files as the base files for the game. These are then overridden by any mod BA2 files and finally loose files (unzipped, unarchived files). Esp files help to make sure load order is proper as well as contain other information that change the game for most mods. For this mod the esp is empty and is for load order only. I hope this helps!
Clearer instructions coming soon with a slightly newer version. Stay tuned!
So I don't have to worry about the loose files part? I just downloaded the main "BA2 files and Esl" mod via Vortex and it didn't seem to have any issues in there... I have yet to open the script extender to launch the game and try it out to make sure because i was waiting on a reply 😅
I love this! I was wondering if we could get a version w/out the windows? If not, that's fine! But I do like to set up stores right behind where the glass has been placed so that whole window area can act as a kind of business counter. Still using this though even if not!
I'm already working on a new version with more options to better fit all the options from Repaired Red Rocket... with and without windows. Hoping to release in the next few days with clear instructions on how to get to work best for various choices. Glad you enjoy the mod so far!
P.S. Until then, be sure you are using one of Repaired Red Rocket's non-glass versions (one of the 2 main file meshes). My mod shouldn't add glass except for the doors. Hope this helps!
This is perfect. I usually play as some mechanic-coded sole survivor and it's always felt like a missing piece that we couldn't refinish or repaint objects/environments so that they were looking brand new. 👍🏽👍🏽

I know for most of my mods they are in ".esp" form, does that determine which main file I need? Sorry for the silly question

What can't be opened? A downloaded zip or the BA2 file? Everything is working fine on my end.
Never mind. I see it's the Loose files one. Thanks for heads up. Reuploaded.P.S. New version out now! Hope you like the new additions.
