LOAD THIS MOD LAST IN YOUR LOAD ORDER SO THE "PLAYER" RECORD IS NOT OVERWRITTEN BY OTHER MODS.

UPDATE August 1: Hipoly faces mod author added a compatibility patch in their mod page, make sure you install it in their optional files if you want to use this mod alongside it, it's named "HiPoly Faces REDUX - Custom Race patch".
This is probably a dumb question but idk much about how the races work, what mods would be incompatible with this i only need a couple examples like what hair cut mods, clothing mods, bodys mods, gamplay mods, etc
All clothing mods and body mods are compatible. Haircuts I wouldn't call them incompatible because its a just matter of just copying new records of the hairs to a new esp and change their Race record to AceHumanRace. But there are some hair mods like Anto Hair Pack that don't specify a race in their hair records so they're compatible with any race basically. This's why I didn't make a patch for it. For gameplay I can't really specify mods because any mod that changes the "Player" record is considered incompatible I think, again that's also very easy to patch in fo4edit. Just load all esps and compare the differences then copy from the gameplay mods to the player record in AceMaleRace.esp. For Example, Better locational damage changes the player's record, here's how it's merged: https://i.imgur.com/leBiLdY.jpg
Otherwise this mod shouldn't conflict with anything as it adds it's own new records.
No, none need patching. Though Hardcore Health Overhaul does change the player record but its record barely touches anything (it changes the base health from 40 to 50), so I'd say it doesn't need patching as long as you overwrite my mods esp after it. Everything else in that mod will apply to the Ace race without issue.
Question for hairstyles. I'm trying to make it so that the Misc. Hairstyles mod can work with this mod. How would I go about making it compatible? I'm comparing it to the Anto Hair Pack mod you gave as an example. In Anto's the RNAM - Valid Races slot is empty but if I delete the slot on Misc. Hairstyles it fills it in with NULL - Null Reference [00000000]. Is null acceptable or do I have to do something else. I know you said to change the race record to AceHumanRace but I don't exactly know how to do that. I'm only a tiny bit familiar with XEdit.
You need to add AceMaleRace.esp as a master to find the AceHumanRace in the race slot. If I remember correctly, in fo4edit right click on the hair esp and look for "add master" or something like that. Add AceMaleRace.esp as a master, then you can find the AceHumanRace in the race slot.
For those who want to use the mod in the middle of the game, but are experiencing crashes when loading the game again:
1. Download Race Changer 2. Load a save with your default character 3. Type sexchange twice in the console 3. Open LooksMenu and select the preset 4. Save, close the game, and load it again.
This way you should be able to use it without any problems.
I'm sure I'm just missing it somewhere in the list when editing the Face, but where is the section/option for Facial Hair? On my list I only see "HAIR", but haven't come across a Facial Hair option. Thanks!
How do you get this mod to work on NPC's? It works on my player; but the NPC's like Preston has Vanilla faces. When I change their race they have this ugly brown face. I tried saving, exiting the game and reloading and when I do that; there is no head for Preston. I checked the race for Preston of FOEdit and it says that his race is already AceHumanRace. Is there something I am missing?
I think this mod needs a patch for ''Father Companion'' mod because that mod adds duplicate Father as our companion and it reverts him back to vanilla look.
This is the best freaking mod, and what I've been hoping someone would make for years. I pretty much always play Nate and it's difficult to find mods that substantially improve him.
I saw you mentioned in another comment that all armor mods should work when playing with this mod but I ran into a specific one that isn’t working, are there any flags in FO4Edit I should look for besides RNAM - Race field? Btw great work, I love it.
Finally I've got some handsome guys in my game! Mod works flawlessly in NG and I play as a female with Hipoly head redux) Can't thank you enough for all your hard work!
Can confirm it works with NG Can also confirm that in the short window between the Sanguinaire rework and NG patch, it no longer works with the latest version of SGN, nor does any custom race, by the author's choice.
