Hi. I don't have/use SMM for this mod as it puts the items under Power > Generators (and not a custom, new menu) and is quite a simple mod under the hood.
That being said, looking at the SMM page it hasn't been updated in nearly 4 years so I have no idea if SMM isn't playing nice with the next-gen update or some other mod conflict in your load order.
Hi. Sorry to have bothered you it was a simple load order issue. For some reason Vortex put it after SMM even though your mod is a masterfile. Edited it in loot works like a charm. Great mod now I just got to change all the old generators out for these. Thanks.
Is it possible to add these to Home Plate? The one that comes with it is not sufficient for my needs, as I usually use this home as my "main home", since it is inside it's own area, and I don't get irradiated while resting, working, ect., and the power cuts out from the first room, or I have to run wires and connectors all over, and it's ugly and takes up my wall space sometimes. I like to add curtins, ect. to it, dividing it up into different areas, and with power lines and connectors everywhere, it limits this. Just wondering, since you can't place them normally, which sucks.
I don't know if you mind using mod to make a wireless settlement or not , but i recommend this mod-Workshop Framework. It gives you the chance to force every facility that needs power to just keep working(no matter you do have built generators or not). And it also gives a way that links every facility to generators but no wires(i think this is made by a script), oh, this needs generators.
It's the way the settlement workshop works in Home Plate in that the game restricts what you can build there (same with Boston Airport and Mechanist's Lair) and it flags the workshop as 'interior only'. 2 ways around this that I'm aware of...
1) Go inside Home Plate, open the console (assuming you are on PC) and then click the workshop. Next, type addkeyword 5A0C8 and press enter and close the console. This will mark Home Plate workshop as an 'exterior' one (like Sanctuary etc) and lets you build everything - you may need to fast travel away and back again. You'll have to do this each time you start a new playthrough.
Thanks for the links. I'm going to check them out now
EDIT: Thanks alot! Using the command "addkeyword 5A0C8" worked perfectly for me. I just placed a few power boxes in the other sections, and now no more lines/conduits running everywhere. I do not know why I wasn't able to see this command when searching myself, it's not like I did not look for almost two months
Also, I do already have a modded power box, and I modded it to add max defense, 500 power, 40 beds, 100 food and water, for places I did not want to bother building up at first (sometimes I get lazy ), so I just modify them in FO4Edit, but I will download this, so I can endorse. Thank you again

2) Use an additional mod that does this for you. The one I use that fixes both Home Plate and Mechanist's Lair is Home Plate - Mechanist Lair - Full Workbenches. The one for Boston Airport I use Boston Airport Workbench Fix - Full Settlement Workbench.
Hope that helps.
