Stuck In
Far Harbor
Alternate Start

Features
-Start-

Start out in Far Harbor instead of the Commonwealth.

Hunter: Start out as a hunter at random spots in the wilderness.
You'll get some basic hunting gear.

Child Of Atom: Start out in front of The Nucleus with some Atom gear.
You'll still need to do the initiation quest.

Escaped Synth: Start out near Acadia.

Trapper: Start out as a trapper at a randomized trapper location.
Trappers are non-hostile towards you. You'll get the cannibal ability.

Detective: Start out in a bar as a detective in search of Kasumi Nakano.
Gives you detective related gear.

-Other Options-

Enable / Disable the Nakano Ship

Originally it was intended for the Nakano Ship to be disabled, so you can't
normally travel back to the Commonwealth, making Far Harbor its own
game. However it's not recommended for the Detective option, unless you
have another ship mod.

Starting Level

Choose how many XP you will get and thus choose your level.
(Level 5, 10 or 20)

-Far Harbor Main Quest-

You can always find a stranded corpse of the main character nearby, loot him and
listen to the holotape. Thus the Nakano starting quest gets completed and
you can search for Kasumi if you want to.

Unless you're playing as a detective, then you don't need to do that.

(Otherwise the quests stay the same, such as Avery being at  the docks, etc...)

It is recommended to do all this before starting the Far Harbor Quest!

How To Start

You will get an aid item called "Stuck In Far Harbor".
Consume it and you'll see a menu.

You can get it via:

-Exiting Vault 111-
-Loading a save-

If you're playing with Alternate Start and you
won't get it, reload the first save in the Commonwealth!

Compatibility

This is pretty compatible with pretty much anything.
It is compatible with "Alternate Start" and can be used alongside it.
(I do recommend it)
