I see you’re using the munitions version, the shape of the 40mm shell is based on the one from FNV so the actual projectile is smaller compared to the actual shell itself.
So you *are* taking out the shell. The projectile is just too small to really see it because of reload animation showing the rear part more. This is much more noticeable on the other versions where I used the initial shell model the grenade launcher came with.
It gives me more control over what configurations I get to inject in and in my experience, usually always work compared to 3rd party script injections which usually are a toss up for me. Dank Rafft’s beats it out in user friendliness but I like how powerful Bethesda’s is.

It's bit strange when i reload,grab grenade instead of shell and throw it away.

I could try making the projectile mesh larger so it’s more noticeable. I need to update this gun anyway.
