This mod allows the use of VATS with ranged weapons. Each part of the ghouls remains non-destructible to maintain the original functionality of the mod's enemies.
The reason I'm making this mod is for people who have some difficulty with shooting games. In the case of Fallout 4, VATS is the only mechanic that gives a RPG feel to combat while also making the shooter concept easier. I saw several comments on the mod from people experiencing some discomfort when unable to use VATS against enemies. Personally, I really believe it's a great mod, and I hope that with this small change, they can enjoy it.
I know this mod deviates from the original author's intention. I asked the author if I could upload this mod, but I haven't received a response yet. From what I could see, he hasn't been active since October 2023. If the author ever asks me to delete the mod, I will do so.

I'm not sure if generating a new .esp with the change counts as modifying the original file.
