I do also think it's worth it! Plus the happiness bonus from the one mod is nice. Let me know how you go and I'm looking for requests, particularly for 1X1 ideas, as I haven't decided how many of those I will make. A good list would help!
would that CC content happen to be all the stuff that automatically downloaded when I got the update? Along with the tesla cannon, enclave stuff, etc...?
You can look at which CC content you have by going to the Creations menu in game, but I do not believe they released those three items for free. I will say though, that several SS2 plots use those three CC packs. SS2 Add-on packs by choochoo1 and CaptainLaserBeam and I think perhaps Pra as well utilize them, and Home Decor Workshop Pack items add happiness to your settlements too.
excellent work on the interior plots! seeing my recommendations brought to life it's better than i had envisioned! by any chance is the super duper mart grocery store interior plot still on the works? i would really hope so (the vanilla one from the main ss2 is to ramsackled and ugly). Also I had a new plot in mind involving the new CC Halloween content, how about a costume shop that sells halloween costumes (like space suits, captain cosmos spacesuit etc) called Freddy Fears House of Scares? maybe you could throw in some costumes made here on the nexus for sale on the plot kinda like choochoo's plots with permisions from the costume mod authors. Oh and I almost forgot, any plans to make a brick police station either 2x2 or 3x3 size? (if 1x1 i think it would be called a police booth or toll gate) for the Commonwealth Police Department, as well as an interior one with a small prision cell? it would be awesome to have almost clean and proper installations for them
So glad you like it! I credited you in the credits section too.
The super duper interior is there! It is basically a little stand, but I think it's cute. Also, the newspaper office has all new SS2 articles and the comic book store has a quest with real, unique perk mags.
I haven't upgraded yet, but after things settle in, I think a Halloween store would be brilliant! Or a bigger super-duper mart with a Halloween section? Using other's assets is tougher, as I have learned the hard way. If you come across a particular costume though, do dm me the link and I can at least ask permission.
I thought I might do some 1X1s later, but a couple of 3X3s aren't out of the question. I also really want a good police station. And I always thought it would be neat to have a 'beat cop' spot (1X1), but I want to learn a few things first, like how to apply an outfit to the cop and that sort of thing.
First though, I'm going to try my hand at a player home. I want to learn more CK stuff. Enjoy the plots!
i'd assume so but you'll probably find the plots missing furniture/props - iirc SS2 has an option to blacklist certain plot plans from ever being built so you can most likely exclude them from the main list in-game
What papagator said. Although, it seems strange your game would CTD when downloading. Usually, it's when it tries to sort. Did you try it from a different mod manager profile? That will keep the game from sorting your established load order.
You can, but I don't recommend using the Nuka Diner or the Residential plot. The residential would be missing: Floor pieces, curtains, wall decor. Nuka Diner would be missing: The tables and chairs, clutter, curtains, lamp and wall decor. Hope this helps!
Just wanted to reach out and congratulate you on your first plots, they look great, and its great to hear that you want to make more! Will be sure to download and try these. Congrats again and cannot wait to see what you come up with next.
Hiya! Thank you! It was intense because I had to figure out so many things. But I did it! And right when I needed it, I got terrific support from the SS2 team! I'm hooked!
excellent mod plans! since you have the mid century furniture as a requirement may I suggest if you could do a bit of prewar-esque plots for businesses, shops and industrial plots in mind? like a pre war fallons commercial plot for clothing using the clean bricks from modern furniture pack, a proper police station for the CPD and hospital for the Nightingales? kinda wat these pack already had without the weed stuff: For the Minutemen - The Rise of Independence - A Sim Settlements 2 Addon at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) it was very promising but it never got updated, also you hapen to have almost the same requirements in terms of CC.
Thank you for the compliment and the suggestions! My next set will be pre-war/clean interior plots and then some 1x1s. I also have some ideas for another small series of interior and 1x1 plots. And then, I may circle back to the 2X2s if I still have gas in the tank! Ha ha! When that happens, I very much like the idea of using those clean brick walls and floors.
All that said... a couple of the interior plots I have in mind may suit your needs. When I build, I tend to use many mods and therefore like to have a nice assortment of interior and 1x1 plots to place inside my buildings, apartments, etc. I made a little hotel in Sanctuary and thought, "I need moar!" And so... here I am. What industrial did you have in mind? I definitely plan to do a clothing store.
For industrial maybe an interior news press? Maybe calling it “New Galaxy News”, for industrial or commercial a Hubris Comics comic book store or press that produces both vanilla and level injected custom magazines/comics? and an interior super duper mart would be awesome, I always wanted an interior convenience store for my settlements, specially to use for Jamaica Plain
All good ideas! I definitely like the news plot idea. Very Chapter 2, and much needed. I've always wanted a comic book store! Knowing how to make it produce stuff is something I'll have to learn though. It'd be so cool to be able to actually buy comics and then display them. Hmm... a little project in itself. A definite yes on the little convenience store. Everyone needs essentials! Thanks for the reply. These are on the list!
