Don't know as I haven't used it. Looking at it's content (without actually downloading it), it seems like it might have FaceGen Data included already in the BA2 archives. So I'm guessing you don't need this mod.
Actually I don't have facegen data in the mod but changing the RO1 NPC records would probably wreck a bit of of the mod. I did generate facegen about 2 years ago but the file size was just too large. So I put that on a back burner.
I've been meaning to take a closer look at your mod, but haven't gotten around to it yet (I was unaware of it's existence until it was brought up). Does it add more NPCs besides the 150 Chutuluandme made?
For 150 NPCs, if you keep the FaceGen resolution at 1k (default setting) the result will be about 500MB. Slightly painful but worth it IMO. For 2k the result will be around 2GB (4x increase). Not sure if it's worth it. Maybe not for everyone.
Then we have the "brownface" bug, not sure if it's a thing for pregenerated facegen. Maybe you know something about that?
Yes. Sorry I forgot to mention that. I had to change a flag on each NPC record (Is CharGen Face Preset) in order to make CK generate FaceGen Data. I think after some testing that the change is required in-game too, to make the game actually look for/use the data. Not 100% certain though.
When I made this mod the documentation was no longer available (if it ever existed) with bethesda.net gone. So I was fumbling in the dark and had look for pointers on what I did wrong in a guide elsewhere here on nexus. It was in spanish and I'm not familiar with that language. Luckily it included some pictures that pointed me in the right direction.
I made the mod for myself, for use on a pc that is about as powerful as an Xbox One (eg very crap by todays standards). The improvement in performance is remarkable and very noticable.
So TLDR the included plugin is exactly the same as the original mod (except for a required change) making the original mod redundant. It is however required for being able to endorse it (if you like the new faces).
You could simply let this mod override the original mod. If your Mod Manager complains about it, either ignore it or add a rule that they shouldn't be used at the same time (though it's easier to just disable/uninstall). Do what works best for you.
I'm not using any of those (they look great btw), so it would require some setup on my end. It also seems to be geared towards 2K faces which I'm not using currently. Generating faces for 2K results in humunguous files (4x larger compared to 1K unless they compress really well). Generating precalculated FaceGen is best suited for NPCs that appear in large groups while there's a lot of action. If it's only a face here and there, then it doesn't matter as much.
It seems like iSirAlex is an active modder, so it would probably be better to ask himself. If he needs guidace (unlikely) on how to generate FaceGen I can help. It's actually very easy. The stumbling block for me was that I needed to untick "Is CharGen Face Preset" on each NPC. After realising this, it was easy.

Will you be interested in making the face gen of iSirAlex's mods?

I appreciate your mods.
