I've always loved the Better Junk optional .esp from Valdacil's Item Sorting, because Scrap Items in Fallout 4 seem have completely arbitrary weight values. A "Blue Paint Can" for example has the weight of 5 in Vanilla, but the sum of its components' weight is 0.6. That thing is almost 10x heavier than it needs to be. That might just be a intentional balancing decision by Bethesda, but for a Junk Hoarder like me, it's just absolutely insane.
Better Junk from VIS alone kept me from switching to FIS for a while. But I was able to come up with a plugin that can recreate it using the Complex Item Sorter. It should also work with any Scrap Item added by other mods. Enjoy!
