Great mod, but for some reason in testing I can't hit npc's from afar. Its like the shots are going through them. NPC's also do the moonwalk when they use the weapon XD.
It's something to do with .308 projectiles hitting the weapon's geometry (or maybe it was the ejected casing?) the suggested fix definitely works, I can confirm.
Several mods change the vanilla .308 casing model to Ammo\308\308Casing.nif instead of Weapons\HuntingRifle\Casing308.nif. It could be to fix this issue. Munition's optional vanilla esp and True Damage make this change. I don't know for certain that is to fix the problem.
Love the mod, but I cant seem to hit any NPCs unless I am point blank, and even then its iffy. I tried the muntions vanilla ammo ad on, but that did not seem to work. Anyone know any other possible solutions? I should also mention I am on xbox.
Yeah, it doesn’t seem to work on Xbox due to the fact the fix can’t be moved lower than the Infantry Battle Rifle in the Load Order. Unless Dak uploads the Infantry Battle Rifle with the fix itself, the rifle is basically broken on Xbox.
I have that Munitions addon and this bug still occured- tho putting a scope on it and using it as a DMR instead of shooting point black made the gun 'feel' more accurate idk why.
I have to ask Dak tho, why does the battle rifle override its projectiles with 5mm? was that necessary somehow?

The T48 suffers from a slightly sight misalignment problem, with whatever sight that's placed in the rear being a little too much to the left in comparison to the front sight, as can be seen from this screenshot. I've reported this bug in the bugs tab but got no replies, however I did see that someone (can't tell if they worked on the mod or not) replied to a user experiencing a similar issue as me with "this was a design choice, not a bug", and since I fail to comprehend how something like this, which can clearly make people miss their shots, is a design choice, I've decided to make this post. Please let me know if there's a fix for this, either coming soon or already available.
the recoil is insane and I use Start me up and use the trigger discipline wich increases accuracy by 20% AND the recoil stock on the gun. I cant hit anything in full auto.
Great mod! Nice looking model, animation, and sound. Buuuut.... For some reason mine can't shoot while aiming for some reason, its almost like the sighted accuracy is close to zero, but shooting from the hip works just fine. Is there a fix?
Also would like to see this integrated with see through scope
The no damage aiming is a common issue with vanilla 308 apparently, check the pinned comment, theres a link for the ammo fix from another mod's optional file, it should work perfectly after that
Another excellent mod, but also another high level, ballistic one.
Do you guys plan on making more low level weapons? i've removed the Pipe weapons from the game. so while the 22. pack and the varmint revolver are nice. they're definitely a commanding presence at the start of the game.
Also are there any plans for the more sci fi weapons? stuff like your pulse carbine, or CSEP's Tinkerer's Raygun
