Overview

This mod ...

[ 1 ] Unifies Map Marker radius via game settings both for revealed and faded marker
[ 2 ] Alters radius of every available Map Marker
[ 3 ] Partially moves Map Markers and XMarkerHeading
[ 4 ] Edits EDID for both MapMarker and XMarkerHeading (usefull for modders)
[ 5 ] Fixes wrong map marker icon e.g. Beantown Brewery now uses the Factory marker
[ 6 ] Map markers scale based on distance to location, starting at 0 % and maxing at 130 %.
[ 7 ] Adds over 70 new map markers

Both cut content and vanilla and DLCs have been standardized to values of 256, 512, 1024, 2048, 4096, 8192 and inbetween 1536 etc. There are more than 400 in total.

With the ultimate goal to force player char to e-x-p-l-o-r-a-t-i-o-n. Since i find it strange to see map marker all over the place without even coming close to them. Thus all of the vanilla and DLC map markers have been overhauled.

FadeStart and Reveal is now equalizied. This will force the game to make the default distance of any map marker 1024. The changes for any map marker in persistent woldspace will then override if not 1024. Some map markers will only appear if your very close to them and on the correct level.

Not all map markers will pop-up (at the same spot) like they did in vanilla. Explore the location, most of the time come close to the door if the location is tied to an interior cell. Then the map marker will appear on your HUD. Some map markers will show very late on your HUD this applies to mostly unmarked locations but also bigger industrial buildings.

Perception affects map markers just like in vanilla. Overhauling is planned.

In-/Unstallation

Plug-in and continue your current game. Since version 002 new map markers have been added. You can technically remove mid-game. If new map marker persistent uninstallation might not be complete. If uninstalled the game should drop back to pre-modded state.

Compatibility

Load first or last. This mod overrides persistent records and adds new map markers. These have there own worldspace and thus conflicts should be close to a minimum. Obviously if you have a mod overriding map markers this mod will conflict and the mod lower will win but thats it. If you want this mod to override all other mods modifying map marker load last.

Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch - UFO4P by Arthmoor was fully implemented with one exception, Home Plate radius. All other map marker names have been patched.
