This patch collection has been overhaulled and now consists entirely of FOMOD installers. The description page will tell you which patches are in what installers. So please check the description page to see if there are any patches for mods you are using.
i love this collection! used the website a lot for making a new modlist even though its nextgen many of the mods either working already, or have been updated. so still solid list to go throug to make a nice starting list :D
any chance you would do mod collection option in here ? new to fo4 modding, but seems like a good way to install a collection of mods =) instead of back and forward on your page :D
oh and lastly, hope some day to see a nextgen version too when everything working nicely again :D
If you mean turn the mods in the guide into a collection, I'd be open to that, but only Vortex can do that, and I use MO2. I did hear at one point someone was working on an MO2 plugin to work with collections, but I haven't heard anything about it lately.
And yes, as soon as everything in the guide works with NextGen, that's where the guide will go. Basically waiting on F4SE at this point.
yea im using vortex :P so thats why i saw collection :D didnt know any of modloaders so just used nexus one :D
ita just nice with a collection you can put in load order and versions and all so one click install, it takes a bit to go through your nice long guide :D so if a collection on nexus/vortex or even mo2 was made it would speed up new games :D
im using f4se on nextgen, seems like most mods using it started to update, for new version, also some of the papyrus stuff are getting there. what i found was missing, was robco to update, but as far i saw it seemed like they didnt want to update yet, because it would be starting over. so guess some mods needs alternatives instead =)
hi, before the reorganization of all these patches into fomods there was a patch available called "JOTCPatch Player Comments UFO4P.esp" that I had installed. It doesn't seem that this patch made it into a fomod. was that intentional?
Correct - it's no longer here. I really enjoyed Player Comments, but it was causing incompatibilities that weren't easily fixable by simple conflict resolution patches.
But if you're using Player Comments, you should be fine without a patch for UFO4P if you don't have the patch any more.
For the load order in my guide, mostly weirdness caused by the interaction between Player Comments and Start Me Up Redux. Player Comments kind of blows up functionality if your character makes a comment in front of the mirror. It made it pretty frustrating.
There were a couple of other mods in my load order that allegedly get thrown off kilter by Player Comments, but since I patch my own load order, I honestly didn't really have any trouble with it. I think it's a super-fun mod, personally. It adds a lot of life to the game. I usually turn the comment percentage way down, though, because I don't need to announce how sweet it is every time I pick up an empty Nuka Cola bottle.
This hub is absolutely vital for anyone looking to make a long modlist. Would have been doing an all nighter in FO4Edit but instead I get 30 needed patches at the click of a button, amazing stuff
Having an issue with the Lost Audio Tweaks - True Storms - Lush Ambience patch. LOOT tells me that: This plugin requires "LushAmbience.esl" to be installed, but it is missing. This plugin requires "LushAmbienceFarHarbor.esp" to be installed, but it is missing.
I downloaded the most up-to-date version of Lush Ambience from the page, which should have all of this, right? Or am I missing something somewhere? Thanks again for all of this!! It's so awesome to have it all in once place like this!
EDIT:Nevermind, figured out what was missing... D'oh!
Oh, I see UFO4P now requires the NextGen update. So I'm going to have to make my answer "I don't know - try it" for the time being, because it will be some time before I upgrade, in order to make sure my modlist and my guide works with NextGen.
Hi, first of all, thank you for your hard work. Question, do I need the City Ambience True Storms patch if I'm using City Ambience and True Storms + Vivid Weathers + their merged patch?
I would say you could skip my City Ambience/True Storms patch. I don't use Vivid Weathers, so probably the merged patch you mentioned would do the job for you. Ditto ELFX/UIL. While I offer these patches as usable outside my guide, if you use other patches, chances are it's not necessary to use the ones here.
Thanks for your answer! works like a charm. Sorry but I have another question, is the Lush Ambiance DLC Patch needed if I also using Lush Ambiance Far Harbor mod? I was wondering what that specific patch does
DoubleYouC's video tutorials for FOLIP are different to the article in some ways one of which is you don't end up creating a FOLIP - After Generation.esp file. I followed the video version so both the 'FOLIP - UFO4P' and 'FOLIP - PRP' patches are missing it as a master file. Also, is the PRP patch for 69 or 74?

what were the incompatibilities that were unfixable?

Also, there seems to be a problem with the Companion Patches. I am getting an error for the AFT UFO4P patch in MO2 stating the following:
Thanks for the info. I had changed the name of the .esp file and didn't update the FOMOD installer. I've fixed it and re-uploaded it.
Let me know if you run into any other issues.
Hope this helps.
