NOTICE: This mod must be combined with other mods that increase your damage or add more powerful weapons. Otherwise, it makes some missions in early and mid-game practically impossible unless you use the "kill" command. For example, reclaiming the Castle and fighting the Mirelurk Queen, or going to the armory and facing Sarge (which is literally impossible). Yes, the AI improves, no doubt about that, but now Sarge chases you through all the hallways, making it impossible to fight in a closed environment against an enemy with that much HP who can take you down in three seconds with his machine guns, even while wearing Power Armor.
Defeating the Behemoth in the attack on Fort Strong is also a nightmare. And if you're using other mods like AR2, where in the first mission you have to fight a Sentry Bot, and in the next one you're up against Mirelurks, Haunters, a Queen, and a King, then forget about even starting the mod until you're level 40-50 and have double the weapon damage.
The rest of the mod is fairly decent: Super Mutants truly feel like a real threat, insects are quite lethal in the early levels and are better avoided, and Deathclaws live up to their role as apex predators. But seriously, the HP of the mentioned enemies needs to be reduced significantly. I used a legendary shotgun with explosive rounds to try and take down a Mirelurk Queen, and after literally unloading 200 shells into its face, I checked its health bar and saw I had only taken out a quarter of its life. That's ridiculous. Ten mini-nukes just to kill a crab? Seriously? I don’t think the mod author tested their own work.
i am using a modified version where enemies don't restore their health in combat, I will upload it. Also, i use melee only, using my mod it can be done (great patience). If you have x edit or the editor it self, got where races are and uncheck the voice (restore health in combat) and you will have the same version i am using right now. A thing i must understand is why, with my mod those enemies with automatic weapons fire fast as hell...
I've noticed that too, but this also affects the player. I think it might be due to some factor within the AI itself, like the aiming code or combat capability. I'm not a programmer, but in vanilla, enemies are also able to fire their weapons faster than the player. It's quite noticeable, especially with Gunners and the Brotherhood of Steel. Maybe some part of their behavior coding causes them to have increased firing speed to maintain PvE balance, and somehow, it also altered the player’s firing speed. Honestly, it doesn't really bother me. I also don't feel like enemies shoot at you the moment they see a pixel of your hand. Obviously, they'll fire if they know you're in cover, but it's not as extreme as some people say. And if it's a "bug" that affects everyone equally, then it's fair.
well, i know that glich with automatic weapon. set run active then just tap movement direction fast and you will be capable to fire that charge barrels gatling laser at the same speed of a standard one. It breaks the game to me, but we are talking about Buggout, where sometimes settlers get mad at you for nothing while you are at a workbench and then, the forced quit sometimes freezes the game. I mean a bug caused from a bug because something else bugged too...poetry. With all that bugs Beteshda created for us, the institute is not that evil after all.
It doesnt only improve accuracy of npcs, it gives their automatic weapons a ridiculous fire rate, sometimes even as a player i got this glitch on me. Any way to tweak this file to not touch weapon values?
I just edited the combat styles, weapons untouched...sometimes happened to me too but i have to figure out which value give that absurd fire rate to them.
Would a mod be possible without improving the looters? I have enough improvements for them. I would appreciate it if they didn't kill me as soon as they saw a finger.
Спасибо,с модом на врагов,теперь рейдеры или стрелки рвут мне жопу,теперь надо осторожнее подходить к ним,иначе очередь и тебя нет.И ракетница пригодилась,иначе с королевой только так.
Try my mod that fixes melee and you will be able to kill the mirelurk queen with melee too, and also try my weapons overhaul mod, is a work in progress but I am still working, it adds carriable turrets, throwing weapons and overhauls all weapons, adding also new mods and there are also incoming ones in future. Try the Hell's Minigun modification
sure is that uncover in the wrong moment doesn't pay...anyway, your companion will shoot perfectly too, and weapons have their spread too. When i say perfect aim i mean the less cone of fire AI can do, but if a weapon has a big spread it affects negatively on enemy aim.

Try the Hell's Minigun modification
Anyway, if you want to save bullets try The Real Melee Combat Fix at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com)
It fits perfectly with this mod and allows you to melee fight as never before, trust me.
I want to try this out but i am worried about enemies shooting perfectly.
