does the updated version still work with the pre-NG game?
I've tried using the X02 replacer but no matter how I arrange it compared to the other AR2 mods, I can't get the power armor soldiers to use the X02 armor. I have the replacer at the very bottom of my load order but whenever I use recycleactor, they just respawn wearing standard X01
I got the replacement to work for all the power armor soldiers who spawn AFTER I got the replacer, but the two or three that spawned before that I had to manually replace their armor
Currently no plans to create a patch for that version as I'm already juggling a bit as is. I think someone else did though? Perhaps it wasn't a full replacer though.
I'm currently using the AR2 and PA-X02 Enclave Black Devil mods. I'm not using Enclave X-02 Power Armor, since as I understand it AR2 should already come with their own PA-X02 version. I'm also not using the aSW mod list (yet), since I'm not a Vortex user.
I'd like to use your "Enclave X02 Power Armor" patch (2nd under Downloads) to add the Black Devil PA to AR2's PA-X02 LLists, so that both AR2's PA-X02 and the custom Black Devil version can co-exist.
Description under the patch says : Leveled List integration and added new Yellow Headlight for the Enclave X-02 Black Devil Power Armor by C1ph3rr.
However the installed AmericaRising2-Armaments-X02.esp file depends on a Enclave-X02.esp master, which I do not have.
Could you please advise, because I must be misunderstanding something ?
Secondary question : is this patch compatible with the Armor - X-02 (Creation Club) patch (the PA-X02 that comes with FO4-NG) found on the America Rising 2 mod page (7th under Downloads) ? Will both LLists "merge" or "overwrite" ?
Basically, my end goal is to keep AR2's X-02 and to give both the CC X-02 and the Black Devil X-02 some use among the Enclave troops.
The Black Devil mod that you linked first should come with the Enclave-X02.esp that is required for the patch. Make sure it's properly installed and enabled.
And yes, it's compatible as it uses the Armor Injection system that AR2 have.
Btw, AR2 does not natively come with an X02 armor, just X01.
I had downloaded only the update of the PA-X02 Black Devil mod, since the BA2 archives were supposed to be same. To give me the ESP, I also had downloaded the CC PA-X02 replacer file of the same mod. When I saw your mod, I disabled the replacer ESP, since I wanted your mod to take over, and then well...
Long story short, shortcuts are rarely worth it when modding. You're also correct about the X-01. Thank you very much for your valuable assistance.
Hello! Any chance you would be interested in making a ptach for the Rheinmetal EG-7 as an enclave exclusive weapon. Give them a unique weapon platform in the commonwealth? I was looking at potentially using it for the institute, but with some other modded weapons I may not need to do that so much, and thought perhaps it would make sense as a good option for a unique faction weapon set for the Enclave, especially since I think they would like the modualrity, exchanging the barrels on one platform for different uses, could change the ammo type to use ECP or MFC, hell even plasma carts for balance, or integrate the XMFC into the game some how as a unique ammo for the enclave. Just different ideas to spitball, I am not super familiar with the LL and hesitate to mess with it too much on my own, so I thought I would throw it out there to someone far more knowledgable on the subject.

Would it be possible to make the "Enclave Marine Armor paint scheme" something you could apply to other marine armor pieces at the armor bench? Currently the vendor has some but not all of the already painted pieces, while simultaneously I have a bunch of "standard" assault marine pieces.
Unless I messed up they are already applicable to other marine armor pieces. I did however made the requirements a bit more restrictive. You need to have found the "Enclave Paintjob" magazine added by the base mod to add it to other stuff.

In my opinion It'd help fit the aesthetic of the other soldiers utilizing the normal gasmask + helmet.
