    Progress Updates

    Issue: Snow on undesirable objects.

Collision controls whether or not an object receives snow. Default collision on the bed causes it to receive snow. Altered collision removes it:

Default collision on the Sedan causes it to not receive snow. Altered collision adds it:

This took forever to figure out. Now... how to fix in a way that is not intrusive compatibility wise... this may prove to be a challenge.

Weather mods, such as NAC X, which provide their own seasonal weathers, simply load after to override this, so there is no incompatibility.

I have nac x. So, snow in winter only appear in certain weather? Or I'm bugged. NG with garden scripts.

Also, embarrassingly, I usually finish a playthrough before spring even come. So, most things I see are close to vanilla.

Hi DoubleYou, just an FYI. Consoleutil is now available for VR. In a past post you mentioned you might post a VR version of your mod. It's been working great for me in VR, especially now that consoleutil is available. Of course I had to reform the formIDs above 800 to make sure it works correctly.

Am I missing something? I can't seem to find a way to make it snow. I swear I managed to do it when I first downloaded this mod, but I can't even remember if I downloaded another thingy or not... Any help would be awesome.

CTDs in Boston area. On Next Gen.
I got quite a few mods having the same issue.
Not sure whether it's next gen itself, or PRP.

I'm trying to diagnose this error on xedit script generation. Any advice would be appreciated.

Fallout4.esm    [REFR:001E541F] (places RoadSCMed04 [SCOL:001E5232] in GRUP Cell Temporary Children of [CELL:0000DF61] (in Commonwealth "Commonwealth" [WRLD:0000003C] at -5,5) in Precombined\0000DF61_2776F5AC_OC.nif) is precombined
        1 precombined references.

    TreeMapleForest5 "Maple Tree" [STAT:0004A071]
[03:27] Exception in unit  line -1: [EJvInterpreterError] Error in unit 'Seasons' on line 326 : Type mismatch
    [03:28] Aborted: Applying script "Seasons"

The only mod that I have that edits 'TreeMapleForest5' is 'Another Pine Forest Trees Only.' The same error occurs when 'Another Pine Forest Trees Only' is removed.

The only way I can see this possibly happening is if you have a mod that adds a REFR that does not have a CELL specified as its first element, presumably one of the many placed references of TreeMapleForest5 "Maple Tree" [STAT:0004A071]

So, If I don't have a plugin that touches 'TreeMapleForest5', What should I do?

In xEdit you look at the Referenced By tab.

any chance you'd add in a temperature survival mechanic for snow weather / winter months? doesn't have to be complex.. just tag some clothes as warm so that we have to wear them, two temperature types would be enough to create the mechanic.
I only ask because it seems like there are no mods right now doing this, aside from FROST which is a total conversion

Finally decided to try out your Seasons Change mod. Looks absolutely fantastic with seasons using NAX-C.
One little issue with Grass though. In Summer the green grass texture is not used, the vanilla dead texture is. Winter does switch to the correct snowed textures. Since I'm running Vivid Fallout AiO I'll check it that might be interfering.

Regarding LOD's and your FOLIP LOD mod, does this incorporate FOLIP LOD's?

Probably LTEX record conflict resolvable in xEdit. The lods use FOLIP yes.

I'm not sure is it just me but the snowflakes falling make the game hard to detect enemies in 3rd person
