Weirdly even scarier than if they just attacked you? Seeing these fucked up but mostly harmless massive cockroaches walking around creates a good atmosphere.
Have been using this mod for a while now and works without issues and is a blessing. The only thing to note is that it seems to also effect the boombugs and stinkbugs from Mutant Menagerie Life finds a way as they are now not hostile until attacked. Not really an issue, but just something to note I guess. Might be because they use the radroach base or something? Not sure but can't complain.
I actually like this. Boombugs are way too fast and stinkbugs do huge acid damage at low levels, so removing them from being overt threats at the beginning is great ;D
wait, so does that mean you can make radstags friendly as well? or have them still be scared but not make them be considered a threat so companions dont go attacking them?
For me, cockroaches are proof there is a devil as they are vile creatures (and flying ones are abominations) that only the devil could create (not even Lovecraft would create such creatures), and so my digust for them burns with heat of a thousand suns, and while I did collect and study insects when I was a teen, I always felt as did Relic Hunter did in the first episode of that show: they are not bugs, they are not insects, they are cockroaches.
Anyway, in real life they do prefer to run, to hide from anything bigger than they are. They instinctively fear anything that even remotely looks like a predator. Even mutated in size, they would still be garbage eaters and not attack living creatures and be afraid of someone larger, especially someone in power armor. So I like this mod not because they are cute, but because I absolutely hate that they are so aggro. And I'll probably--no, definitely--still blast them on sight.

I like this. Not sure why. Similar reasons, I guess.
(I had a girlfriend who had a PET Madagascar Hissing Cockroach. That might be part of it.)

HOW friendly, exactly? If they're just going to drop by unannounced, and talk and talk and talk... Well, that might be TOO friendly.
