Varntorn - M41 Turret v1.0
I really liked the Gun Emplacement turret from Fallout 76, so when I found this I decided to make it.
The Strv m/41 where license-produced Czech TNH tanks, but armed with a Bofors 37mm cannon.
In the late 50s, all of the Strv m/41 were rebuilt to APCs (Pbv 301), but the turrets were repurposed as fixed defensive cannons, and got the designation “Värntorn m/41”.
The Germans did the same thing with many of the tanks that they had that were no longer drive-able in WWII, as a last ditch effort to defend Berlin from the Russian forces.
This turret is in 2 parts a concrete base which is in the "prefab" area of the "Concrete" section in the build menu and the Tank Turret upper portion which is in the "Turret" area of the "Defense" section of the build menu.
These Work just like any other settlement turrets, just put them where you
want them and watch them help defend your settlements.
You can build them in your settlement and they found in the Prefab section
of the Metal Building in the Structures area of the workshop build menu.
They all have collision on them, but it is not perfect, so you can not enter the open topped vehicles.
The Turrets each give a buff to your Defense of 50 to the settlements they are built in.
The mod is flagged as an ESL, so it does not take up any mod slots.
The mod is what it is, and unless it is a game breaking issue, will not be revised.
