Thank you for this! It bothered me to see that .38 and .45 had the same magazine size as the longer rifle rounds. Technically the 5.56 and .308/7,62's should not all be the same size either, but it's more believable that the monster-length pistol rounds.
Only solutions are to provide alternate magazine meshes, or eliminate the ability to fire pistol rounds. You've done the better choice, IMHO. Thank-you!
Works. Makes more sense then handcrafting an assault rifle in .38spc, or .45acp. Only issue I have out of the box is 7.62mm does more damage then .308. /geekon The 7.62 in Fo4 is most likely 7.62x39mm, otherwise known as 7.62 russian. It's the classic "intermediate" round first pioneered by the Wermacht as 7.92 kurtz, and then refined by the Soviet Union. .308 is 7.62x51mm NATO, a full sized rifle round and far more powerful. Same bullet diameter, vastly diffrent cartriges. An easy fix in xedit, but yeah. /geekoff Color this one endorsed.
your nerding out on ammo has made me not want to mod anymore JK ill see about editing the ammos to be more in line with irl with out ruining the gun balance
Sorry bout that. It's a peeve. That being said, all I did is swap the damage ratings. Tried bumping .308 a few points, but once you get perked up it becomes absurd.
So no real need to change the mod, it's literally 4 clicks in xedit. But thank you for the prompt response, and keep up the excellent work!
